"Well of to play with 230Milliwatts"
ROFLOL! Yeah that's about it! Right poptart? Sorry but I could not resist. Poptart, even if we were not having a disagreement that would just be, well, FUNNY!
Yeah 1/2 mile with 230milliwats is funny huh? oh and the antenna is 5 feet in the air. So what now!
But i just and doing 230Milliwatts because i saw it at the doloar store and i wanted to see how far i could take it .. lol but yea most of my shows are on am relay stations there is to many old powerlines where i am to TX.
I know it's funny the guyhas a transmitter that he got for 5 bucks hne i spent years building this thing i get worldwide on but ya'll gota realize i don't have a lot of time to build stuff dureing the week and the weekend is when i get anything done.
 Yah know?

Your setup is not my problem Poptart. Although I find you "working" 230miliwatt amusing that is not what I am talking about and you know it.
My problem with you is you badmouthing the FRN AND the HFU. You are propagating the same garbage you claimed to come here to "escape". That is all.
So, will you fess up to both and admit you are being foolish or are you going to continue the same path. You owe both an apology to say the least.

I read what was one TCS site....
Look Why do we have to worry about what another person said?
Can't we Forget about Commander Bunny right now and worrie about Joplin,MO?
If you live'd there would you want people Causing un-need'd drama or geting off there computer's and doing what every they can to help?
I think it's time everyone Put on there Big Boy pants and Step up to the plate and help these many people that have Lost ALL they have or ever had to this Devastation!
It really makes me kinda pissed off when people are buried under homes and rubble.. People homeless and ya guy's are pointing fingers and bad mouthing othere people.
What Has Commander Bunny said about you?
Well enought of my talk...
Catch ya later...
Considering that you came here from the Furrey Radio Network site and have only been on here for a few days and have already tossed around words like "monkey boy" and "big boy pants" don't you think it may be wise to read more and post opinions less? Most of us put on our big boy pants and came here so we would not have to deal with Peter Cottontail and his various aliases. This is a nice site, leave the furrey stuff on the furrey site. Johns been here longer then us; he gets to post what he wants.
I have used monkey boy for a wile! 1st time i used it when i heard a WBNY show like 3 years ago and it has bacome a part of my everyday vocabulary. What this is about is that there is a whole town level'd and where pulling this $***. Can we all just focus on the City og Joplin,Mo? I wasn't Dissing what he posted if that's how you took it i was just saying we need to help Joplin. How many of your shows have been heard? how long have you been in the hobbie?
Well yeah. im done with this topic.
Hop ya'll have a good day.

Poptart, just relax. Your attitude will get you nowhere fast. I would not even start with the whole "How long have you been in the hobbie" or "how many of your shows have been heard" if I were you. I will guarantee you most every one on this board has been in the Hobby longer than you and perhaps even longer than you have been on this earth.

Poptart, Anyone can read the forums. You just need to register, and be approved, to post. But really, I would not let some ones behavior there stop you from participating in a wider pirate radio community.

Pirate radio tends to attract eccentric folks with strong personalities and opinions.  That's not necessarily a bad thing.  The hobby would be boring if everyone did everything the same way just for the sake of avoiding conflict.

It's only a problem when a bias prevents diversity from allowing natural equilibrium to sort things out.

Anyway, Poptart, there are some very knowledgeable and helpful folks on the FRN so it's still useful for networking and finding folks with compatible interests.  And there are many, many other radio hobbyist sites around, especially several that are more compatible with free or pirate FM radio.

You got it Lex. Like I said though this Pirate Flaming pops up from time to time. Happens on all forums at one time or another, really anytime you get more than 3 people together this stuff will happen. Recent changes over there though have changed the personality of the forum. This type of behavior( the flaming ect) would have been crushed quickly in the past and now it is not.
Because my listening setup has sucked for the past 2years i have not been posting over there or anywhere. I however do read logs and the other forums on the site to kind of keep up, not to mention I find it fun. Needless to say I have noticed a change and it bums me out.

I cant even get on the site right now. Either I am blocked or they are down or, I dunno. The flaming gets too heavy over there at times Poptart. This years bout of pirate PMS is however the worst I have ever seen. Place has not been the same since the change of management. :-\

I will be a chugging down some La Fin Du Monde beer and having a BBQ. Ready for the rapture or zombies... Good thing the CDC is on the case though.

An article I ran across on BBC website. They call them Pirates but I would label this as clandestine due to their political content.
