Well, I guess Suicidal Tendencies MIGHT be considered "music" by someone somewhere...I remember when it came out, I thought it was a comedic recording and that I just didn't "get it!"  I mean, some guy in his twenties whining a monologue (likely practicing what he wished that he had balls enough to say out loud to his Mom if only he wasn't such a little pus*y) about "all I wanted was a Pepsi" and about what  his "best interest" is etc. is not exactly "music" in  my book...but then neither is "rap" or "hip hop"  etc.  (THAT foolishness sounds like a crackhead babbling while a record skips in the background!)

Check out the How will I laugh album from Suicidal Tendencies... To each their own, it still might not do it for you but it is a good album to get familiar with ST. It's my favorite album from ST..

When I was getting ready to tackle a morse code course on cd I used it as an excuse to buy another set of phones...
I ended up buying the Audio Technica ATH M35.. They are very reasonably priced studio monitors with a flat frequency response.
One of the best sets of phones I have. First off they were great for doing the code course and comfortable enough to wear for long
periods of time. When listening to music I was amazed at all the nuances I was able to hear that I was not picking up with a expensive
pair of Skullcandy phones. I ended up buying the ATH M50's and could not be happier.. I believe CNET has video reviews of Audio Technica's
headphones on their site.. :)
