This same program is on 6375.  Said in announcement earlier that it was an experiment to find new pirate frequencies.  OK new station came on "Voice of Pastroto" and woman said, "remove your testicle immediately", opera music and cw ID's. Pirates Week after WBNY relay ID.  Announcement said "WBNY will QSL for relays to POB 1 belfast.

6900 - SIO444 audio is top notch
6375 - SIO343 audio not as sharp as 6900

Also on 6375.  Said this was some kind of "experiment" to find a new place for Pirates.

6375 - Audio not as much punch but signal is improving as sun goes down SIO343
6900 - Audio is great.  Signal is steady and good  SIO454

Very cool idea.

I've got the same thing on 6375.  Same programs as 6900.  Signal is blasting into Ohio Valley with an SIO445 tonight.  Pirates Week with interview of Pat Murphy about Pirates Hall of Fame starting up, audio clips of pirates on air, then WBNY relay ID, announcement that WBNY would QSL for relays to POB 1 Belfast and then Voice of Next Thursday started and is still on.  very cool stuff

WBNY relays of Radio Junk, Pirates Week and Voice of Next Thursday on 6800 in AM.  Very nice clean, crisp signal.  2103-2204UTC SIO444

This Radio Junk is pretty cool. Techno type electronic music and some really unusual views of things.  Very good production.

« on: November 07, 2010, 2304 UTC »
Not sure if this is numbers or pirate or clandestine.  started off with spanish music, then went into numbers, back to music.  unsure what it is.  2145-2258utc sio434 appears to be on a loop as its repeating now.

North American Shortwave Pirate / 6875AM what the devil is this?
« on: November 06, 2010, 2316 UTC »
Seems to be on a repeating loop, with nothing but cartoon laughs. At least I think it is. I'm recording it to play it backwards and slowed down to see if there isn't a message embedded in it. very odd.......6875AM SIO444 2230-2313UTC haven't heard anything this strange in a long time

If only le Carré wrote espionage parodies.

As the wise chairman Marx advised: "I don't want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member."

that was 'chairman" Groucho Marx, not Karl!
