SINPO 55555 on an SDR in New England.

Sounds like Weezer?

17
Strart up at 1833 UTC. Announcements mostly in Dutch but some English used.
Power announced as 100 Watts.
"This is Mi Amigo from Holland."

1841 - ID and email address in Dutch.
1846 - "dit is radio zender Mi Amigo."
1914 - Close down announcement.
1916 - Thank you to somebody. "Goodbye." TX OFF.

18
Difficult listening due to QRM and QRN but clearly audible on an SDR in Switzerland. SINPO 23222 with filtering involved.

QRM = Mi Amigo on 6205 KHz, Data signal on ~6215 KHz.

Off at check back 1905 UTC.

19
Presumed due to the 1940s-1950s music played. Strongest in Europe but some very noisy reception on the east coast of North America.
S8/SINPO 35333 on an SDR in Ischia, southern Italy.

Carrier is up. May or may not become something but there was an AM station on 6972 earlier.

Carrier off ~0041 UTC. Oh well....

They said that they were going to hire more agents to improve their ability to enforce the PIRATE Act. Here's your chance to work for The Fuzz.

The RF Workbench / QRP Labs ProgRock2 Synthesizer
« on: July 11, 2023, 2301 UTC »
Pretty cool. I bought a couple but I haven't had time to try them yet.
  • Eight selectable programmable frequencies up to 228 MHz (roughly)
  • Three outputs (two if using a GPS reference) that can be in phase, 180 degrees out of phase or quadrature (Hello CMCD)
  • Uses the same synthesizer chip in the Elecraft KX3 (and probably a few other radios)
  • Small enough to fit in a HC-6 crystal container!
  • Sold completely built, not a kit, so no soldering
  • Platform shoes and long hair not included (Get it? It's called Prog Rock...)

Presumed.

Greek music.

I was tipped off to this by someone with the username "Ikaros G Radio" with an IP address in Greece tuned to this frequency on an SDR in Ireland. There is a band marker for this on some SDRs.

Very weak in Eire and UK. Sometimes I can find it on an SDR in Norway or Sweden but also weak there too. More exact frequency (presuming the SDR is accurate) is 24997.2 KHz.

Peskies / UNID 6919 LSB 0030 UTC 16 JUN 2023

Music. This might be a peskie goofing around or it might not.

0033 - Next song. Might be sung in Spanish but I'm not sure.
0041 - Accordion music with what sounds like Portuguese. Female voice saying in English, "(something) forty-one".
0042 - Slight change of frequency.

0050 - I have to step away for a while. Move it to the Peskie or LA sections if you wish.

25
I initially thought this was European as it seemed to be stronger in Europe than in North America, but then I checked the INSTITUTO ARGENTINO DE RADIOASTRONOMIA Buenos Aires SDR and it's bombing in S9+. I presume it's AD149.

Audio is 10 KHz bandwidth. Pop music.

Checked back at 2355 UTC and carrier has dramatically faded in Buenos Aires but about the same in the US.

26
Interval signal loop with UK-accented male and female announcers.

0016 - Carrier off
0017 - Carrier and IS resume
0018 - Program commences with perhaps what seems like relay of a commercial station. Sounds like the announcements are in Hebrew, but not 100% sure on that.

I became distracted away from the radio for ~50 minutes and missed the rest of the program!

27
Carrier visible on a New England SDR. Voice and some music audible but too weak to understand. I'm going to have to try another SDR.

2234 - C&W song?

Yes, Skipmuck is right. This is WMR. Recording in North America: https://vocaroo.com/11wdZA7Q7sKo

2242: Prince, "1999".
2247: Michael Jackson

28
Caught the end of an R&B tune then ....nothing.

29
EDIT: I originally reported "M" but looking at the photo again now, I think it it is "I".

A bit outside the usual band for these but I'm hearing (and seeing) these on the KFS SDR omni antenna.

"K" on 13528.3 KHz
"M" "I" on 13528.4 KHz

"I" quickly faded after this but I continued to hear "K" for several minutes afterward.
