15:00 UTC - UNID with strong signal carrying KG-84 850/75 FSK traffic received on 11175.0 kHz USB. This is typically a High Frequency Global Communications System (HFGCS) voice frequency. Some voice traffic occasionally heard intermixed with the FSK traffic.

Utility / Exercise Noble Skywave 2021

All interested, Exercise Noble Skywave 2021 has begun and traffic is currently being transmitted on the desiganted exercise frequencies. Excercise is expected to continue through its various phases until 09:00 UTC 28 October 2021.
Since 2013, the Canadian Communications and Electronics branch has brought hundreds of teams from dozens of Nations together to test, strengthen expertise and compete in a friendly atmosphere to what is now known as the most prestigious military led HF competition in the world. The exercise continued to increase in scale and prominence with more domestic and international teams registering to compete.
For additional details, please see my post at the link below which includes additional links on where to retrieve frequencies being used for the exercise. Happy UTE DXing and I am looking forward to seeing your reception logs on this thread.

23:53 UTC - UNID with blues music, good and readable with fading in / out. Actual frequency 6950.60 kHz AM;
23:56 UTC - Station ID "? Shortwave" mixed with music but missed it due to fading and audio is over modulated;
00:04 UTC - Station ID: "This is Captain Morgan Shortwave";
00:05 UTC - Some technical issue took the station off the air, most likely the over modulated audio tripped something. It did not sound too good when it motor boated itself off the air.
