Decent reception (333) to Colorado from Voice of Korea (Kujang) for a few minutes then abruptly terminated broadcaster in mid-sentence.

Unidentified on 11 meters.  Spanish conversation between hams (?) or other operators.  I heard about 3-4 different individuals. Signal was sporatic (232) with sometimes an echo in the voices and other times a digital sequence heard.  Reception did not improve if I switched to USB/LSB. I should learn Spanish.

Wow, 5 watts, impressive.  Thanks.

Speed QSLing from V31XX station in Consejo, Belize operated by Bill K4XS.  Signal improved to 333.  He said he does about 200-250 QSLs an hour when he is contesting. I heard more than 20 in as many minutes.  The station has several large antennas, but primarily uses a 4 element 136 foot Yagi.

Rather strong signal (333) from Nippon no Kaze this morning in Korean.  Some background wind hiss; but otherwise very clear.

Continuing to hear this CW on 400 kHz; but weak.  Heard from 2345 to 2348.

The sound has definitely changed from yesterday:  less null, more tones.  It has 4-5 tones not two together.

Strange buzz-hum:  About 12 seconds on and 17 seconds off continuously repeating.  Two tones, one low and one mid tone, aharmonic.  A kind of grinding sound similar to a low frequency buzz saw or a slow tooth drill or wind blowing through an underground tunnel (spooky).  Heard on my Tecsun S-2000  in Colorado with its internal antenna.  Exterior antenna did not improve sound.  On USB and LSB the the sound had a higher tonality but not substantially improved.  Will try to get an audio of it, if it continues.

Kris, I heard the same station at about the same time on January 26th.  Rather rare for me to hear Brazil.

Equipment / Re: SW Receiver Recommendations
« on: January 27, 2022, 2257 UTC »
I DXed SWL for 10 years with a Realistic DX-300; but recently bought a tabletop Tecsun S-2000 which is the same radio as a Grundig 750; but less expensive.  I got mine for $330 from www.Anon-co.com.  A good antenna is important to get weaker stations. I use an Eavesdropper/C long wire. Works well.

Thanks Ct,  I don't have a QSL from RN da Amazonia.

Yes, I believe there was a long dash (pause) after ID.  The transmission stopped before I could record it.
