WPOD, 6925u, 5-31-11, SINPO 25332
Just getting ready to call it a night, but heard a station coming through.
Pretty steady, but weak signal. Very crashy atmosphere here in Chicago.

0358z - WPOD ID ("This is WPOD, White Punks On Drugs radio")via female computer voice.
Hearing the other tunes, but not sure I can identify them. They do sound like TV theme songs.
0407z - Job Rolling papers ad.
0408z - ID again.
0408z - Rockford Files theme (finally got one)
0422z - Sign-off ID's. Thanks very much.

I'd enjoy a QSL if you do so.

North American Shortwave Pirate / Re: Captain Morgan 6925a

Pretty sure this is Capt. Morgan too on 6924.8am. SINPO of 45242. One of the strongest
Capt. Morgan signals I've received at roughly S8, but almost constant static crash
of S7-S9+5 knocks it down to a rough listen.

The Capt. be sailin' some rough waters tonight.

Continuous blues since I tuned in at 0130z or so. No ID.

Per the original post - I am delighted that John and his family are OK.

The European scene is at least 10-20 times larger than the US .....It is also a perfect example of how pirate radio can thrive and grow.
It has recently been taken over by John of Orion Radio Nederland, who has run the Dutch amforum for many years, and is a genuinely nice guy.

Cheers, Terry

Well said Terry. Whenever I've been involved with the Europirate folks, they've been extremely friendly and welcoming to new participants. I'm sure things aren't perfect, but they don't seem to have the same issues we do here. I imagine they find much of what goes on with the FRN pretty confusing.

Hijack off  ;)

Now it's starting to make sense. The HAARP rings will eventually fit within the grids formed by chemtrails. Line things up just right
and you've got the perfect weapon. Or a winning tic-tac-toe game.  ;D

Agreed. Given the obvious size of the twister, let's hope that he got enough advanced warning to be safe.

1425z - Queen - Radio GaGa. Fade picking up.
