General Radio Discussion / Re: Poll: Favorite albums
« on: July 29, 2013, 0248 UTC »
With my ever-decreasing attention span, I can't even remember the last time I sat down and listened to an entire album.
Even so, I find it exceedingly difficult to narrow down my choices for best albums.  I know I will want to change it as soon as I click the 'Post' button, but here goes.
No particular order:
Cream - Disraeli Gears
Santana - Moonflower
Led Zep - IV (zoso)
Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
The Eagles - Hotel California
Hank Williams - 40 Greatest Hits
Green Day - Dookie
Dire Straits - Brother in Arms
Van Halen - Van Halen
Peter Gabriel - So
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon/Wish You Were Here/The Wall
Jeff Beck - Blow by Blow

S3 to S4, S2 noise floor, playing 'Tom Sawyer' by Rush @ 0235z
Bass seems to be lacking, but decent communications quality copy.

S4 to S7 here, seems to be improving.  Low noise floor with the narrow USB filter so decent copy.
Sounds like a repeat of the broadcast from a couple day ago.  'Major Tom' @ 0110z

S7 here, Man Cave Radio Id's, then into 'Shoot to Thrill" by ACDC @ 0241z. Off @ 0252z

6260 getting better here, but noise levels are rising also, not as good as last night.  'We're In This Love Together' by Al Jarreau @ 0230z, then 'Tainted Love' by Soft Cell.

S9 here, fair audio, nice selection of music.  ID, email and off @ 0221z
