22:30 - 22:48 utc can just see carrier come and go.
22:48 utc  came up a bit, just bits of music audio, no enough to id song.
22:50 utc back down the way it was before.

The X is clear on signal peaks but sounds like other letters when the signal is fading.

I wonder, what does the "Windy" refer to besides W?
It does "drift" down frequency a bit when it "keys" down....
It also throws in one or more solitary dits at times?

Nothing on 1715 here but I am getting some weak audio on 1710 right now.
I have the audio recorder on in case the sig come up. Right now I can hear bits of talking and music but can't ID any of it..

Actually it appears ther are 2 carriers right now and in the image I posted?

Update
I received communication from the owner of this signal telling me that:
1  - It originated from somewhere in the mountains of Idaho and
2  - The person was using 150 watts carrier.

Ashamed that I did not catch more of this - the audio was impressive, maybe next time if there is a next time?

No indication if there would be another broadcast nor any Station "ID" but I will certainly be keeping an eye on the band.

1710 and 1720 khz are definitely getting more popular this winter.

I have checked this frequency many nights since 12-25-13 and tonight I'm getting what I presume is Iceland again.
It fades in and out as one would expect but on the peaks the audio is very nice.
Mostly pleasant laid back music tonight...
4:30 utc female announcer been talking for awhile but not in English.

4:36 utc Male announcer Possible ID?  into "Dreaming of a White Christmas"
