checking at 2:41z still there but becoming lost in the noise. occasionaly popping up to auduble levels.

Heard them talking about the "staged event at sandy hook elementary school". Seems to be complete lunacy if you ask me. A bunch of dead 5 year olds and these fools call it a  "staged event". Theres enough crap to get pissed about without inventing more.

HM01 is audible here on 5855 daily, often as many as three times a night between 5:00z and 11:00z

Although I had trouble hearing BOR last night I would like to second Rockpickers nod to BOR for turning listeners on to new music/artists. Bravo for using the airwaves to turn folks on to music they would otherwise not hear.

first heard at 1:40z very weak here playing blues tunes.stayed weak ..about S3 until around 2:07z then up to S7 or 8. Heard "..I'm a king bee baby..." at 2:11z. Still going at 2:25z S7-8 but kinda noisy.  Thanks for the blues, Ronin.

This has been going on for a few days now . It is likely being caused by a faulty transmitter on 11780 RNA/RNB in Brazil. There has been a lengthy discussion about this in the dx listening digest yahoo group over the last 3 or 4 days. It seems more than a coincidence that when RNA/RNB on 11780 starts ,so does the noise. It's been going on since Sunday 1/13.

Scanning the 25 m band at 23:20 UTC on 1/16 it seems all clear. RNA/RNB is on 11780 & no problems here. ZYE727 is doing well on 11765 with that nutty preacher in Portugese. KSDA & RTI are clear (or I should say clashing) on 11700 & North Korea's Home service is audible on 11680. Maybe the problem plaguing the band is solved.

Last night (1-18) around 4:00z the band was better.  There was a funky FM like signal on 11670 that matched up with RNA/RNB's 6180 signal so they have not quite solved the problem but they have improved things. I wish they would just take the screwed up 11780 tx off air & use a dummy load to test it until it's fixed.

Barely audible here. WMPR is usually pretty well received but not this time. S3 at best.

pretty strong signal here..S9+10 most of the time fades down to S7. It's really noisy here though & I'm not able to laugh my ass off like I did yesterday. I'll stay with it because it was pretty good yesterday & I could use a good laugh.

I thought japan was still on 11740 khz at 5:00z .....pretty sure I heard them a couple of nights ago. btw, "rebelde" is cuba on 5025 khz  . I too, love me some radio rebelde.

off at 1:20z then back at 1:24z talking w/ another op that I could barely hear....until his last transmission when he suddenly came up & it was Blue Ocean...cool
