1220       KGIR      MO Cape Girardeau 8/28 2042 Buried in the noise then signal peak with male announcer “…weather in Cape Girardeau…KGIR…” then gone.

1230       WMPC  MI Lapeer 8/21 2058 Suddenly on top of a jumble with male announcer “…WMPC Lapeer…” then lost.

1230       WIBQ    IN Terra Haute 8/22 2048 Up out of the mess with “…WIBQAM.com advertise with us…” and “…and Whiting news 1440 WPRS Paris" which is their parallel – rare here.

1230       KWIX     MO Moberly 8/23 2058 NO ID but up out of a mess with female announcer “…serving Clark & Macon counties for over 6 years….Waste Removal…”.  Presumed since Moberly is in Randolph County which is just south of Macon county and the only other two MO stations (KLWT Lebanon and KZYM Joplin) are nowhere near Clark or Mason counties.  See UNID help as this was mixing with ANOTHER MO station at same time with male announcer “…if you own a farm in Missouri, Farm Bureau Insurance is for you.”  So this one was either KLWT or KZYM.

1230       WXLI     GA Dublin 8/26 2026 Came up on top of a pile up with male announcing sports event (assumed local HS football) and “…overtime coming up at WXLI” – very strong for a few seconds.

1340       WSOY   IL Decatur 8/30 2017 Male announcer with “Your home for the Redbirds, WSOY” referring to St. Louis Cardinals.  Rare here.

1370       WLLM   IL Lincoln 8/29 2002 Male announcer jumped out of the jumble with “…at WLLM.org good news and good music twenty-four seven WLLM” into music.  Rare here.

1480       WRSW  IN Warsaw 9/1 2030 NO ID but playing Chicago Bears coverage of 4th preseason game – Tom Thayer and Jeff Joniak announcing – this is the only Bears affiliate station on 1480 so presumed.

1490       WBTA   NY Batavia 9/5 2036 Extremely excited sounding male announcer over the mess with clear “WBTA” id then back to a pile up.  Local WPNA nulled with Kiwa.

1490       WRMT  NC Rocky Mount 9/6 2100 Popped up out of nowhere with male announcer …”on WRMT…” very clear then faded to gone.  Local WPNA nulled with Kiwa.

1610       CHHA    ON Toronto 8/28 2003 Very clear male announcer out of dead air with “…and 647-227-4734 (phone number).  You can also visit YouTube…CHHA 1610AM and also at … podcasts…Toronto.org and channel5.com” into talk show – 10,000 watter but I haven’t been above 1600khz for years.

1280       KBIG?    9/7 1957  I realize that only 15 miles from me on 1280 is WBIG but this ID was so clear I listened to it 20 times and the ID was CLEARLY KBIG: male announcer with baseball game.  “…Todd Williams (player)…going into the third (inning) no score on AM 1280 KBIG” then fade.  I have no idea….

1230       KLWT or KZYM  8/23 2058 Male announcer “…if you own a farm in Missouri, Farm Bureau Insurance is for you.” NOT KWIX (see my post for KWIX 1230).  KLWT is 1,000w/1,000w and KZYM is 560w/600w.

Utility / Help with marine type broadcasts

Hello all - can anyone point me in the right direction for a frequency listing of marine broadcasts - not so much Volmets, or the automated NMO/NOJ/NMC/etc stuff or Canadien counterparts  - but more in the live net type area?  Have been copying KPK at 1215z with info on behalf of SSCA so that's an example and the Carribean safety & security net at 1230z (8104 and 8152khz respectively).
