They are following the pattern today.

16 July 2019   11435  1558z
53367 51757 56861 333523 18711 47465

Yes - the pattern will continue or they'll go into repeat mode - which they did earlier this year for many, many weeks.  Prior to that, they have pretty much followed protocol for the last 4+ years with little to no prolonged periods of repeat mode.

The new groups always end with a 1 (very very rarely a new group will end with a zero) and that same group will be repeated for two days.  The last digit in each group will progress daily by one - so the new group today 18711 will go: 18711 18711 18712 18713 18714....until at least 18716 but at most 18719 at which point it will be replaced with a new group.  Sometimes, and recently for weeks on end, HM01 will go into repeat mode and the groups won't progress the last digit by one until all of a sudden they will send six entirely new groups of which some may or may not end in a one - as if they started "in progress".

Do they still send the windows xp shutdown signal randomly?
Josh - yes they do, along with the windows "error when you hit the wrong key" sound as well as clearly RHC sign on music once in a while.

Thx Josh but lots of Noise here as of late - yes the notch on the R8 works well but sometimes it seems that nothing helps!

I copied JMH this morning but not as well as your copy - was about 1135z - 7793.1kHz USB - noisy though signal was strong - PBO on the R8 didn't help much though it normally does.  Congrats again.
My two cents: you should consider chasing the Japanese Fisheries faxes - rare & irregular but I've caught them here before.

New Zealand and both Aussie WEFAX stations are typically strong to good here most of the year during local mornings.
Nice job.

That song is creepy.
Heads up - last summer he would sometimes be on during the day (local USA):
15085khz in the 2200z range and
11490khz in the 1800z range.

He's been popped at least twice. He's Col. Steve Anderson and Jimmy The Weasel rolled into one.
Yes - he got the knock a few years back - he's been unlogged (off air?) since last October I think - now that he's back he may broadcast 5 or 6 nites a week on the same freq - maybe 7480 this go around?
That music he plays gives me the willies....

QSLs Received / Re: Paper QSL's?
« on: May 23, 2019, 2242 UTC »
I received a paper QSL earlier this year for an emailed reception report of Furusato No Kaze - they sent the QSL via regular mail after responding the same day (!) to my email report - the QSL took about 5 weeks to reach my location.

She needs to takes some some lessons from the "King of The Accordion", Flaco Jimenez. Flaco doesn't play that noise called "polka".

As Tom Waits said - "a real gentleman is someone who can play the accordian but doesn't".
