Actually in 2019 EFR was on 11/10 at 1808z and 2125z on 6925 and 6875 respectively.
11/10 in 2018 on 6925 at 2050z. Last time they were on on 11/9 was 2014.

Yes probably the Jammer - but I have heard the jamming stop for short periods to allow SOH to bleed thru here near Chicago. Why they stop then restart I have no idea.

« on: August 20, 2020, 1653 UTC »I've been tuned in to 5995 since a bit before 0600 UTC, using LSB due to the presence of Habana on 6000 (which seems gone as of 0637z, guess I can go back to AM mode). It's just been music. Low audio level per usual but clear. I enjoy this station when I stay up late (it's past midnight in my time zone) because it's usually a music program. You'd never have any idea Mali was in any turmoil listening to this.Kind of like the old Soviet Union TV - when the sh*t hit the fan they would play non stop music......that's how you knew something was going down.

Reports from 0600z broadcast - sign on, no interval signal, no FF ID, no FF announcements just non stop African Music.
The situation may affect CRI relay via Bamako.

Maybe some interesting listening on 5995khz - I think they come back on at 0600z "if they do come back at all" - there are yet unconfirmed reports of a military coup in Mali - one logger has relayed "reports of heavy military presence near the Radio station & the airport "
