FWIW I use a 2.4khz filter for just about all of my sideband catches - there was also a period during last night's broadcast that had a nice fadeup over the noise with some banjo music that was cutting through really well:

Signal started off in the noise with some fading & began to stay above the static around 04:30z slowly improving with broadcast - had pretty good conditions around 06:58z to sign off at 07:36z.
