Not terribly strong. Variety of old blues tunes. No announcer or ID heard. Sounds like a repeat of a broadcast from last week.

Just came on here with techno music, I.D.ed as being from a movie then into RTN I.D.
Lots of summer static and early yet but still a good S-5 to S-7 with static crashes. Always a pleasure to hear!

Got a nice S-5 signal with QRN and QSB. Signal strength gradually building.
Tuned in to hear YL singing, then OM announcer gave Blue Ocean Radio ID twice, the email addy of blueoceanradio@gmail.com.

Fantastic to hear another great Canadian free radio broadcaster!

Equipment / Pixel active RX antenna
« on: May 25, 2012, 0213 UTC »
Hey, I got a Pixel receive only antenna. Been using it for a few months now and love it. It's pricey but well worth it. Using cheap satellite TV coax you can mount it more then 200' away. Using expensive satellite TV coax you can mount it up to 1000' away. Google them if you're interested.

Usual brutal signal on a good band for a change. Heard Jeff Foxworthy do a Redneck stand up routine, into a YL doing a country song. Crystal Clear I.D.
I hear Radio True North so strong so frequently that I listen to it while I'm working in my shop. Sounds pro and getting better all the time.

Caught Aldo Nova "Fantasy" and Ramones "Rock 'n Roll High School" among others. Haven't heard an ID yet but judging by the great music mix, crushing signal (S-9+!!!), and terrific audio I'll guess it's Radio True North. Always a pleasure!

Just heard "Video Killed the Radio Star" then into ID and DJ patter by OM about summer conditions. Nice, strong S-7 signal on a noisy band. Typically outstanding audio. Always great to hear an old friend!
*** Update - Thanks for the shout out!
