North American Shortwave Pirate / NRS 6930 AM

Northern Relay Service just came on. Seems to be high energy dance music as interval signal, then voice and CW I.D.
Strongest it's been in a while at S-5 to S-7 but still a fair bit of QRN.

I'm guessing it's NRS going by the freq but I can't say as I haven't heard an I.D. yet.
Not terribly strong at S-3 to S-5 and the band is crappy tonight.

I can hear OM talking and music on 6930 but too weak to I.D.   I'm gonna guess NRS judging by the freq but I can't say as I haven't heard an I.D.

Hearing faint music, OM announcer "This is Radio", repeated "This is Radio". The voice is stronger then the music but dang, I couldn't pull out the full I.D.

Some sort of loop being played on upper 6925 with exchange between at least 2 ops.
"Kracker don't call my show" and various other things.

I have what sounds like carillon (sp?) or church type bells. Non stop, no breaks or voices. Definitely a transmission of some sort.

Caught the end of WPOD transmission, straight into RTN broadcast. Not as strong as usual but then it's early.

Caught the end of the show with James Bond theme. OM and YL gave I.D. several times. "we hope you enjoyed the show..." and "W-P-O-D, White Punks On Dope". Then into RTN.
My first ever reception of WPOD! Thanks, hope to hear more of you!!!

Have Renegade Radio strong into Northern Canada tonight. Solid S-7 signal with QRN and QSB. Caught a song, male chat with I.D. "punk rock show", then into another song. First time I've heard you! Hope to hear you again.

General Radio Discussion / It's all good in the pirate world.

I remember going months without hearing ANY pirate activity. Yet in the last year since the rodents have crawled back in their holes I've been hearing at least one station each week. Some weeks there's stations on EVERY night. As I write this NRS and RTN are freakin' BLASTING in here with diverse, interesting programming. These are truely good times to be a pirate enthusiast.
***Update***After I wrote this Renegade Radio also came on with a great signal. Three quality pirates in one night! Received beautiful QSL's from Northern Relay Service and Renegade Radio within 12 hours.
