BIG signal into northern Canada, S-9+ on peaks. Heard Ramones "I wanna be sedated", then into another Ramones song, cut off audio after several seconds. OM talking about energy, then back into Ramones. Great to hear you! Killer signal. Please e-QSL if possible.

Just turned the rig on to a CRUSHING signal. S-9+ playing unknown song. Great SSB audio. I'll listen for ID but thought I'd post here first.

About S-3 in northern Canada. Enough to hear music but not enough to listen to for any length of time. I had better copy if I tuned using SSB. Kudos for trying a freq off the beaten path. I look forward to hearing more as winter conditions improve.

Was very strong (S-7+) in northern Canada when it was in but occasional QSB to S-0. Nice to hear!

General Radio Discussion / Re: Make your own Enigma Replica

Years ago, (in the '70's) I recall reading an ad for a place that had 5 original Enigma machines for sale. I never bought one, and have been kicking myself ever since. Also had a chance to buy an empty can of Zyclon B, but was just too creeped out by it. Instead I have literally a ton of WWII radio gear. Mostly RCA AR-88's, but I also have a few Wireless set 19's, PRC-6's, and a receiver from a Mosquito bomber.

Have Kool or Cool Radio. Strong S-7 signal on 6.935 USB at about 0125GMT.
Gave ad for Pirates for Peace, then We Are Pirates for Peace. Then clear Cool AM Radio ID, into eastern sounding music.
Great signal! Great programming!
A new one for me, please QSL to MaplRadio@gmail.com.

Nice signal, great audio for SSB. Heard Iron Maiden "Powerslave".

What the title says, I have two stations playing music. The one on 6925 is S-3 in S-3 noise, the one on 6930 is strong; S-5 over S-3 noise.

71
Killer good signal, great audio for SSB. S-7+ over about S-3 noise.
Tuned in to hear Tears for Fears song, and OM DJ patter.
Great to hear! I look forward to more this winter.

72
About S-7 with S-5 noise. Good audio for SSB. Hearing Van Halen "Runnin' With The Devil".
Great to hear you!

North American Shortwave Pirate / Weak signal on 6.940AM
« on: October 05, 2013, 0244 UTC »
Hearing weak signal, muffled OM with accent. Dance tunes. Aaargh! Would be copyable with a lower noise level.

74
Unfortunately I have S-5 noise here in Northern Canada . I can hear the carrier but the noise is too much. Dang, this would be a new one for me.

75
Not so strong here, tough copy on AM. Can hear an OM announcer and dance music.
