Just (seemed to) came (come) up moments ago ...

Propagation must be weird tonight - Wolverine is normally quite strong form the outset ...

As a matter of fact, the QRN (lightning static) is not bad this evening, and haven't one 'sweeper' or OTH/Auroral RADAR either ...

Just for the record, there are T-storms across the central part of the country, yet, they aren't producing the usual signal-decimating QRN ... is propagation that bad? Maybe ...

0343z Carrier detected ... now some audio is coming though, soft music ATTM ...

0350z Signal has/is picking up a little now ... musical pgm continues: Boston and "Piece of Mind" again.

0353z Faded again; only trace is a weak carrier ...

Looks like tonight's program was from back in the 1998-2000 time frame:

    http://www.worldmicroscope.com/?p=287

From the link above -

The tape’s contents are summarized as follows:

- Shoot that son of a bitch! – Uncle Bob gives the listener some finer points on sport hunting.
- Target practice – Uncle Bob presents tips and pointers on sighting and targeting using a child and a beer can.
- Beer warning system – Uncle Bob describes an innovative invention for warning when you’re getting low on beer.
- Huntin’ with one bullet – A fantastic tale of Uncle Bob’s hunting prowess.
- Uncle Bob’s music – After a day of drinking, it’s always nice to play some tunes.

0125z: Sycko Radio ID and Area 51/WBCQ ID.  Not sure if live, from web stream or relay of archive.  Hearing Cos and Lumpy Gravy on 5110 now, so it's not a simulcast.
0130z: Sycko Radio ID after "Girl, Kill Your Boyfriend" (The Figgs?)
0138z: Uncle Bob on the mic, shout out to Kracker and Cosmikdebris

Anyway, good audio, pretty good signal, mostly hampered by occasional local RFI bursts.

Invoking the "Not everything you hear is true" idiom repeated in an earlier pgm on 6925, I'm going to have to go with someone other than who we think it is .. after all, this is Pirate Radio ...

Listening around - no hear it in Tejas ...

How accurate is the 8.35 MHz frequency? Reason I ask, is, I can listen with a 250 Hz wide filter and being 500 Hz off will put me 'out of the money' so to speak ... (I did tune up and down the band +-1 kHz tho, and didn't hear anything doing that either) ...
