Okay, I was wrong, it's not Democracy now, also signal slowly fading, at 0133 punk rock tune, at 0143 song "stand by me" sung by women, under the noise, at 0145 a folk tune with banjo,

At 2338utc I hear a weak carrier, with moderately rapid fading, in ssb mode and barely hear audio at times. Does anybody else hear this or is it intermod? I'm within 15 miles of several Chicago mediumwave station transmitters all 50kw, collocated 670 and 780 using same tower, and 720khz.

Equipment / Active antenna for condo or apt
« on: July 14, 2019, 0157 UTC »
I've been thinking about moving into a condo in the future. I'm 73 and tired of taking care of a 92 year old house that has problems. This means I would be giving up my 7mhz backyard dipole and CB antenna. I would like to know if anybody is using an active antenna in a condo or apartment and how good the reception is. I fear there would be too much QRM in a multiple unit building. Thanks for any answers.

Very weak under low noise, hear rock music with female singer, then nothing,

Very weak in noise, hear blues tune, slow Morse code (I'm not fluent in Morse)

Barely hear male voices and music under heavy static, at first sounded like Amos and Andy, at 0027 lucky strike program with Jack Benny. Tuned in again at 0148 and weaker now, barely hear anything.
