Tuned in at 0105utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with good S9+10 signal, song "black magic called love" then another swing tune with the word "black" in it, song "black slacks" from 1957, song "black is black" from 1966, Stones "paint it black", Santana "black magic woman", wide variety of songs with the word "black" in them, excellent program as usual, at 0157 echo ID then SSTV/FAX, thanks for the good tunes.

Tuned in at 2325utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr, weak S5 to S7 signal, sounds like special radio broadcast from early 1940's about FDR and WW2. Is this WFDR? Announcer talking about FDR arriving in congress to make a speech followed by applause. FDR giving speech "I have asked congress to assemble for this special occasion." Signal increasing to S9. At 2342 announcer slowly said "W, F, D, R, good night" then off air. (edit) We need another FDR along with solid Democratic majorities in house and senate as well as state governors and legislatures.

Barrington Hills IL sdr with S9 to S9+10 signal, S-on with piano IS, woman making Ballsmacker ID then song "man on the moon", at 0207 "great balls of fire", at 0214 "love potion #9", at 0216 tuned in locally with S9+20 signal over S9+10 neighborhood noise, I think the high noise here is due to AT&T uverse sending 100megabit/sec through ordinary pairs of wires, at 0252 signal suddenly became weak and noisy on Barrington Hills sdr, locally a lost cause under high neighborhood noise, nice program, thanks. Off suddenly at 0259 in mid song.

Tuned in at 0040utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with fair S7 signal, surfer music playing, at 0050 SSTV/FAX then more guitar instrumentals, SSTV/FAX at 0119utc then growling dog then another SSTV/FAX, long program of surfer music, dogs howling at 0152 for several minutes,

Tuned in at 2315utc on Normal IL sdr, poor noisy S5 to S7 signal, hear song "don't you want me baby", at 2324 switched to Barrington Hills IL sdr with equally poor noisy signal, at 2330 heard howling sound under noise. Came back at 0040 and it's now usb, not am, at 0044 WDOG ID then some old Led Zepplin,

Tuned in at 0201utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with fair/poor S5 to S7 signal, hear a rock tune I can't ID, at 0207 sound of steam whistle on a steam locomotive then song en espaņol sung by woman, at 0215 pretty much faded away, tried Normal IL sdr, same result.

Tuned in at 0103utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with good S9+ signal, hear song from 1920's or 1930's, at 0118 "angel eyes" followed by "pretty woman" by Roy Orbison, at 0136 "you're only pretty as you feel" by J Airplane, wide variety of tunes with the word "pretty" in them, excellent program as usual, thanks. Echo ID at 0159 then SSTV/FAX.

Tuned in at 0325 on Normal IL sdr, fair/poor S7 to S9 signal, excellent audio, soft rock tune playing that I don't recognize, I'm listening in CQUAM stereo, at 0337 signal improved to S9+10 at times, at 0343 read email from Mr. Farley's wife saying he had brain surgery and is in hospice care, he read my hfunderground post on air, at 0354 switched to Franktown CO sdr with better reception but it failed after a minute, at 0359 switched to Batavia IL sdr with fair S9 reception, thanks for the nice program.
