X-FM putting a S8-S9 signal into NH this evening - couple of S-units above the noise.

0210z - Says he's using his "backpack studio" tonight and that accounts for the audio quality not being up to his normal excellent standards. (Sounds pretty awful now and then - peaking S9+ now). Op audio is ok, the music is mangled.

0220z "10,000 tunes and 9,000 are corrupt" (or something like that), and thanks for the shout-outs...

0248z Off (it seems cheeseburgers are more important than pirate radio)

Too bad the noise-level was so high tonight, it made copy very difficult.   Maybe I'll catch this show some other time... thanks.

0215z Hearing the Doctor in NH - he's peaking about S7 but is battling two other stations that are about the same strength.  One is playing music (spanish?) and there is also an automated weather announcement station in there.  The result is that I'm only getting about 25% of what he's saying.

Info from #pirateradio: The other stations are Celestial radio from NYC and the NJ traffic info system (thanks).

Gotta love the Wikipedia entry on "Red Mercury", lots of strangeness...
