Got them here in NY at 2357 UTC.  Playing some great surf guitar music.  S8 signal.

332
Still hear you here just fine Frans at 2353 UTC.  S8-S9.

333
Wow, really good signal at 2331 on 6260 kHz.  S8-S9 in NY.  Frans saying hello to Artem at 2332.  Peter Frampton at 2333 UTC.

334
Tuned in, have the carrier on 15499.85 kHz.  Playing Genesis, "In the Air Tonight" at 2238 UTC.  S5 signal in NY.  Surprised this band is open at this hour.  Frans talking at 2240 UTC.  Greetings to me at 2242 UTC, hello Frans, it's been a long time!

335
I've got their carrier on 6304.75 kHz.  Pop/rock music at 2311 UTC, but I don't recognize the artist or song title.  S5 signal in NY, but a lot of that is atmospheric noise.  Fast talking DJ at 2312.  Just a wild guess, but it could be an Edith Piaf song at 2315 UTC, this was followed by some more announcements.

336
Tuned in to 6920 kHz at 2238 UTC, can detect music, but signal is too weak and atmospheric noise too strong to be able to recognize the song title.  Sounds like accordion music at 2244 UTC.

Nice S8-S9 signal here in NY.  Pop song with male vocals at 2303 UTC.  Heard an ID just before the song.  First time logging of BBR for me.  Carrier is on 6924.7 kHz.  Professional sounding IDs.  Song at 2325 with lyrics, "I'm just a believer, that things will just get better".  Signal has improved.

338
Been listening since 0103 UTC.  Heard live or bootleg versions of songs from Depeche Mode, New Order, Joy Division and Suicide.  S7-S8 signal in NY, carrier is close to 6950.3 kHz.  Audio is strong, and I can hear the nuances in the different versions of these familiar songs. One of my best receptions of MRI.  Enjoying the show!

At 0012 UTC, I have 6260 at S7 levels, and 6285 at S6 in NY.

Computer generated voice ID at 0121, followed by "Knocking on Heaven's Door".  S8-S9 in NY.

I have some audio here in NY at 1031 UTC.  Can only detect that it's a song with male vocals, don't recognize the song.  This was followed by a computer generated female voice ID and/or announcement. I have the carrier on 6924.5 kHz.

Playing a rap song at 1247 UTC, then announcement from Dick Spacewalker.  S3, peaking to S5 here in NY.

I also feel your pain, as I have a 5 kW station about a mile from me.  My solution was similar to Chris's but I used the Kiwa equivalent of the PAR filter (PAR wasn't making them at the time of my purchase).  I don't think they manufacture the Kiwa filter any longer, so the PAR is probably the way to go.

Also, I feed my dipoles with coax, but I use RF chokes on the feedlines, as recommended by John Bryant in this article:

Here are some links to the PAR and Kiwa filters:

For shortwave radio listening/DXing, I recommend you get a pair of aviation type headphones, which are specifically designed to hear voice audio.  Why invest in high fidelity headphones, when all they're going to do is pass more static and static crashes to your ears?

I use Telex Airman 760's, as these are one of the cheaper aviation headphone options.  They're open air style, and are very lightweight and comfortable.  Frequency response is 100-3000 Hz, which is terrible for an iPod, but perfect for shortwave.  (The 760's are exactly the same as the 750's, without a microphone).  Even though they list for something like $99, I've bought two pairs on Ebay, once for $19.95, and another for $1.25.

I had them too; but it closed down around 2207.  When I tuned in, it sounded like a song from the 30's or 40's.  About an S6 in NY, with noisy band conditions.

Back on at 2210 UTC with the same song with female vocals before they shut down. Signal and/or modulation seems better now.
