Old Time Radio pirate 6770 AM
6770 kHz 6.770 MHz 6.77 MHz

S4-S5 signal at 2200 UTC, considerably stronger carrier than usual.  Hearing music with OM talking in between.  "Down the whole neck" "60 seconds" "like neighbors" "there's my new neighbor" heard.  Bits and pieces of modulation but strong carrier on 6770.0 kHz.

NNE5PY (net control station as of 1630 UTC) working various stations, including KNNP491 (at 1630 UTC), stations reporting fading.  Continued voice transmissions and MT63 digital broadcast at 1631 UTC.

6845 kHz USB and 6910 kHz USB also active with weekly SHARES nets.  Currently hearing NNX3YT checking in on 6845 USB at 1631 UTC.  Stations moving around and checking into each net.

Now have stations on 6900 LSB and 6900 USB chatting away, sometimes at the same time.  Spanish ragchew net, freeband net, freebanders net, 43 meter outbanders, etc.  While they usually use 6900 kHz LSB, I have logged 6900 kHz USB several times before (and today!)

6818 kHz USB 6.818 MHz USB, possibly QSYed from 6800 kHz USB due to heavy QRM from a US military net.  Strong signals heard at 1440 UTC and 1441 UTC.  Spanish language speakers.

815
Several US military and MARS callsigns heard during active net on 6800 kHz USB this morning...all while Spanish language traffic is heard in the background.  Doesn't seem to affecting the net operation at all but it is certainly there.  See Utility board for log on 6800 kHz USB net for 25 Oct 2017.

Five Niner / 59 requesting radio check at 1422 UTC on 6980 kHz USB.  SIO 555 very strong signal.  Sounds like military or training net.

817
UNID (well, the net itself was never IDed) military net, possibly a training net, appears to have started on 6784 kHz USB and then moved up to 6800 kHz USB due to very strong data QRM nearby 6784 kHz...some very strong signals with nearly constant Spanish language chatter QRM for the majority of the log.  At around 1440 UTC, the Spanish speaking operators (or at least some of them) appeared to have gotten the hint and moved frequency to 6818 kHz USB.

1427 UTC - "any station any station this is Victor 42 radio check, radio check over"
1428 UTC - "any station any station this is Victor 42 radio check, radio check over" [repeated at 1 minute intervals]

1437 UTC - "Charlie India Whiskey 601 CIW601, radio check, radio check over"

1439 UTC - more radio checks, various stations and tactical callsigns heard

44, 59, and several other numeric callsigns working each other, radio checks, checking into net, etc.  Very strong ute data signal on 6786 kHz USB means I had to drop the passband way down to hear these guys.  Last transmission heard at 1412 UTC, as net moved QSY up to 6800 kHz USB.

EDIT: Fixed title to reference the fact that this was part of the Noble Skywave CANFORCE exercise.

Hearing at least two stations having a casual QSO on 6900 kHz LSB 6.900 MHz LSB 6.9 MHz Spanish speakers.  SIO 222 with some fading.  Active frequency at 1345 UTC.  This frequency is usually busy at night but more and more I have logged activity during the daytime as well.  Sometimes its busy 24 hours a day.

6900 kHz is the primary freeband or outband frequency for the 43 meter band in the Americas.

822
Dozens and dozens of active two-way communications in the 6765-7000 kHz fixed mobile band tonight, Spanish and Portuguese both heard.  Lupo Radio on 6973 kHz heard as well (see Shortwave Pirate forum).  Too many frequencies to list but some great propagation going from 2100 UTC +

823
Carrier on 6925.5, with some weak audio, mostly on the lower side band, but some on the upper.  Difficult to tune.

1324 UTC - hearing music but it sounds distorted
1325 UTC - a bit more clear now, can hear Steely Dan - Deacon Blues
1326 UTC - carrier is now closer to 6925.6 kHz, maybe transmitter is still warming up?
1330 UTC - good morning to R4002, OM talking "we are just warming up" - thanks for the shoutout! I am enjoying the broadcast!
1331 UTC - Steely Dan - Peg
1335 UTC - "Sunday Morning Broadcast" OM with a little more Steely Dan, then a long fade
1336 UTC - now getting bits and pieces of audio
1338 UTC - signal back up a little bit, still only getting carrier at S3-S4
