UNID station, 6925 kHz USB, started about 0125 UTC, December 01, 2018. Music sounded like a comedy bit, maybe Weird AL, not sure, conditions not great. Into some other music, maybe electronica or something. Off with an SSTV image. The SSTV image was not great copy here, but gfood enough to tell it was an image of my listening desk. Thanks for the image shout out, whoever you were.

UNID station on 6930 kHz, USB mode, 0018 UTC, 26 November, 2018.
Single song, Love Me or Leave Me, Billie Holiday. Decent, but not strong, signal into the Mojave Desert of California.
Single song and appears to be gone.

Spy Numbers / V24 has missed every scheduled transmission from November 9, 2018, to today, Nov

The last V24 transmission, that I know of, was on November 9, 2018, 1500 UTC, on 6215 kHz. That transmission was normal. To the best of my knowledge, from that day to today (November 22, 2018) V24 has missed every historically scheduled transmission. Further, during that time I have monitored every past used V24 frequency from before 1100 UTC to past 1700 UTC, every day (as I have for many years, minus a handful of days in the past 10 years), all with no results.
Either V24 has not transmitted since Nov 9, or they are using an entirely new set of frequencies, or have shifted to a different time set. V24 has occupied roughly the same times of transmission, between 1100 and 1700 UTC, for at least 15 years.
A real possibility is that V24 has been inactive but will eventually return to the air. This has happened several times in the past, missing every transmission for a week or more. At one point V24 was off air for several months, only to return as before.
Time will tell if this is temporary or not, however since there are only one or two more scheduled transmissions this month, and V24 has already missed the companion transmissions to both of those, it is quite likely that the next time we might hear V24 will be on Dec 1, on 6310 kHz, at 1530 UTC.

In keeping with last months frequency change of V07, this month has also shifted frequencies.

14846 kHz, 04-11-2018, 0120z, V07, USB

Since it was a null message there was no 0140z transmission, but a good bet for the freq at 0140z, when used, is either 13486 kHz or 12486 kHz, my bet is on 13846 kHz. I guess we will find out later this month.

Spy Numbers / The last known transmissions of both V30 and M97

I recently uploaded a few new videos to my YouTube channel. Two of them are the last known transmissions of Vietnamese V30 and M97. These stations made their last known transmissions on May 6, 2016. It is possible they are actually still active, but on frequencies and times that are unreported, however these are the last known activities of the stations.

Spy Numbers / V07, apparent schedule changes starting October, 2018

V07 underwent significant schedule changes from July 2017 to July 2018, but after that time appeared to be stable for a few months. In October, 2018, it again changed frequencies. While the time of transmission remained the same, all three frequencies, and the associated callup, were brand new. Only time will tell if this is a one-time thing or if it is an indicator of more changes to come.

HF Mystery Signals / Merging all 1 PPS pip / pulse / tick logs

All,
On page 1 of this forum there are 14 different posts about the same signal on different frequencies. In an attempt to clean things up, and so other things don't get lost between, I am going to move all the 1 PPS pip posts to this thread.
It would be nice if we could keep posts related to these signals in a single thread (or maybe two of them, one for reports and one for speculation / theorization), makes it easier to find information.
Keep in mind this is not the same as some other Pip/ditter posts, such as the multi frequency Pips Network. This is a thread for the 1 pulse per second, 16 msec per pulse, pips that sound something like a time station.

So far UNIDed station, 6949.47 kHz, AM mode. Wide and clean audio, about 10.2 kHz total width in AM. Noticed it about 0346 or so with a carrier,a nd a minute or so later heard the audio. S9+ into the Mojave Desert.
