From October 3rd, 2013 through August 5th, 2014- I was a member and co-founder of a punk/ grunge band. I played the drums. My good friend Zack Routon played the guitar, wrote the songs and sung. His good friend Julian Wilingham played the bass. Together- we called ourselves Manic Impression. It was the first band I truly loved and was proud of what we accomplished. Before then- I was in a band called Deadfall with my still good friend Andy Wilson.
Anyway- I have unearthed all of our old recordings, and if you feel like hearing some top of the line (or bottom, it's up to you) garage grunge- here's the link to the folder.

Well since December 13th, 2014- I've been playing drums with my friend Nils Reeve and Vinny Intriei and we've recorded a ton of material which we plan on recording onto my newly acquired Reel to Reel machine. The stuff we're making is quite different than Manic Impression. Our name is still unknown- but it might be something like "Astral Exit"

FM Free Radio / Latino pirate on 94.9 gone

There was a pirate on 94.9 playing latin music that was fairly clear too. A five mile drive around my area showed the signal strong all around, but I could never get perfect signal to see where it could possibly be from. Yet just a few days ago it was not there, and a check of the FCC pirate database does not show and IOUs sent out so I am guessing they shut it off on their own volition.

"People offered to help me cover my twins' ears,” Young said. “Others threw their stuff down and walked out. Employees were running around everywhere. Picking and hanging up phones, which worked….for about two minutes before it started up again."
My 3 year old twins asked "is she hurt". Terribly awkward.

Some highlights.
Coven has still legions of loyal fans, but I would say you were one of the most underrated bands on earth. How do you think: your image was too aggressive, or simply - it wasn't right time for you?
Too subversive and real would be the words... Other bands that followed Coven into the1970's were toned down in content, image and live show... Members of Black Sabbath would not dare wear an inverted cross, nor would they record a Black Mass... Alice Cooper, Kiss etc. were more like Halloween “dress up” bands that did not reflect any real occult life style nor esoteric information on their recordings... I affectionately call them Coven “Lites”... Some think their music loud, heavy and scary, but what did they really reveal? To me Occult Musick should be eerie and darkly enlightening... Our moniker “Coven” was even so obscure of a word when we started that we had to put the definition inside the album and on the Black Mass poster… Coven crafted a scholarly representation via music of medieval sorcery and diabolism...
