QSLs Received / Re: Trans Europe Radio QSL

Thanks! Looks like it's good for a couple hundred watts but probably hard to find, at least in the USA.

Any idea what that final tube is? I'm not familiar with that one.

Really weak here. Maybe S1 or S2. The noise is S5 to S7. I hear a voice at 0330.

I thought this was still Bust A Nut radio but it's on USB. Playing music. Lots of static, difficult to make out. Signal 24232.

0253 There was an ID in there but I couldn't make it out.
0302 Male voice, can't make out what he's saying.
0310 Static is overpowering. Think it's still in there but can't tell.
0315 Signal came up a bit, could hear voices, but couldn't tell what they were saying.

Just got home and tuned in at 0225Z. Played Margaritaville.
0227 Crazy Train, pretty good signal, S5 to S7. Lots of QRN but copy fine.
0230 Bonanza theme
0236 Heard "Bust A Nut" ID. I wasn't sure if this was still them transmitting but I guess it is.
0247 Still hearing music on frequency, sounds like they're still on.
On second glance, the station I'm hearing is on USB, no carrier or lower sideband. It must be a new station.

Huge signal in Illinois also. S9+20. WMPR ID at 2340. More dance music. Sounds like someone is throwing a carrier on them every once in a while.

Got around to downloading and listening to this. Sounded like someone goofing around on a straight key. At first I thought it might be the "wrong" side of an FSK Morse signal but then heard the "V V V AR AR" part.

So you got me on this one!

I just tuned in mid-program. Playing music. Not a great signal here but not bad. SINPO 34333.

Various voice clips being played over top of music. Signal is taking some deep fades so revised signal report. Averaging S5 here.

0327Z ID Radio ? International

0339 Voices talking about repairing electronic equipment. A phone number was given.

0340 Heard WBCQ, WABC mentioned. Sounded like a studio interview or a phone call.

0342 sounded like ID Radio Calendar International

0351 ID Radio Jamba International heard quite clearly this time

0405 Another Radio Jamba International ID. Guitar music in background with voices over top.

0450 Still at it. Some deep fades. Various rock and blues jams being played. I did hear "They call me Kracker."

0452 Gone now.
Thanks for the show Radio Jamba!

Thanks Chris. I've immensely enjoyed most of the pirate radio broadcasts I've listened to. There are some really creative individuals out there!

I just wish we could all get along.

205
I was hearing a carrier and occasionally bits and pieces of music. Mostly in the noise here. Very weak.

It seems there are at least a few antisocials in every crowd and I don't know what these guys, whoever they are, hope to accomplish. The things I heard were downright malicious. What they don't seem to realize is that they are harming themselves far beyond what they can imagine. Transmitting swill like that is not going to get them anywhere but down.

Most of us seem to be able to get along and have fun with it. I enjoyed immensely hearing the on-frequency conversation between Col. Turtlehead and another pirate station (The Eccentric One?) after the Turtlehead Radio program the other night.

Rave On radio now sends me a QSL after each time I log them on HFU. Cool!

People like this are what I like to listen to.

Maybe some of my loggings were in poor taste. Maybe I posted TMI. If that's the case, all I can do is apologize and say I do learn from my mistakes and won't post anything offensive again. I'll stick to Wolverine Radio, Captain Morgain SW etc.

The lockout appeared to me to be done because the posting was in a loggings forum and it had gone beyond simply logging a station or contributing to the logging. Am I right?

How do you find these stations? I wouldn't think of listening on 21460.

Still no CO on ~3449.8. I suspect it's dead.

Just caught the last few minutes. Looks like they were off at 2335. Good signal here, S7 or so.
