0110z: Mistress Evilena explains it all for you. Talking about doctor, someone who resembles actress Tia Carrera, talking about hypnosis sessions.
0113z: Evilena is squiggling around the ionosphere, drifting toward 6925.3 now. Talking about hypnosis.

Good signal through usual RFI here.  No ID for station airing this delectable confection.

1215z: Firedrake w/ usual raucous instrumental music.  S9+ with rapid fluttering fades.  Not sure what they're jamming here, Google doesn't turn up much other than many other logs confirming Firedrake on this freq at this time, presumably jamming... something.  (Apparently jamming Sound of Hope.  Thanks to jimdx via wunclub IRC.)

Not seeing any data on clandestineradio.com for Sound of Hope on 8400.

HF Beacons / Re: logs for this evening
« on: April 26, 2010, 1124 UTC »
I hardly ever beacon hunt - my location is too noisy - but using your log as a guideline I heard these this morning (all 1120z) via the SLC web receiver:

4079.66          TMP beacon
4089.20          dasher   location not know
4096.65          kelsie dasher
4096.30          hexie dasher

ID'd by L Cee as WEAK Radio, but I couldn't copy a positive ID myself.  Audio sounded like WEAK, when I could copy it.
4/26/10
6960 USB
0245-0255z: Cream SWLABR, Tales of Brave Ulysses, Hendrix "Fire"
0256z: Sounds like Hendrix "Voodoo Chile", barely audible now.
0340z: Ah, just now floated back in after long fadeout, sounds like "Machine Gun" from live Band of Gypsies album! Eeexxxcellent. Fans of Hendrix's "Star Spangled Banner" combat noises, dive-bomb whammy bar gymnastics and machine-gun chops should love this one.
0346z: Faded out at what sounded like the intro riffs to "Who Knows"

Signal gone after 0346z here.

Seems to be drifting or shifting between 6929.9-6930.1 USB
0039z-0240z:  Outhouse Radio with all Jimi Hendrix music.  Outhouse Radio ID, op saying "If you don't like Hendrix you may have to spin the dial"
"Three Little Bears" from War Heroes, "All Along the Watchtower", "Fire", "Hear My Train A Comin'", "Manic Depression" (the weirdest 3/4 time waltz ever composed), Star Spangled Banner (sounds like Woodstock cut), many others.

SINPO=34322. Signal seemed to keep drifting/shifting between 6929.8-6930.1 USB.  I switched to my Magnavox D2935 with BFO by the desk to keep up with the drifts/shifts - sometimes a stepless BFO beats the 20 Hz fine tuning increments of the Palstar R30C, altho' the Magnavox BFO itself is drifty while the Palstar is stable.

0852z: B-52's "Rock Lobster"

SINPO=34312, good peaks, many fades to inaudible

0545z-0730z: STP, Meatloaf, Sniff 'n' Tears, Outhouse Radio ID's.
0620z: Suppertramp song briefly sneaked through the mud here on my own receiver in Gopher Stomp. (Not Outhouse, per OHR op, apparently another station on same freq at this time.)
0705z: OHR op talking after guitar jam, into "Doom, Despair and Agony"
0730z: More guitar jams, OHR ID.

After 0700z, stronger than usual here for late night. SINPO=34322, minor QRM from sideband comm chatter.

4/25/10
6950 USB
0223z: Eric Clapton "Forever Man"
0226z: Patti Smith "Dancing Barefoot"
0230z: Talking Heads "Wild Life"

SINPO=44323, the usual great audio, wild fluttering fades from S1-S9 every few seconds

0233z: WTCR ID, YL voice
0233z: CCR "Born on the Bayou"
0237z: Tom Petty "Breakdown"
0245z: Stones "Shattered". Go ahead, bite the Big Apple. Won't find no maggots.
0302z: WTCR ID w/ QSL info after Laura Nyro "Wedding Bell Blues" (thx to DB for the heads up!)

0303z: Into new WTCR show? Cream "Born Under A Bad Sign"
0318z: WTCR ID, Blondie "Rapture"
0330z: Sting "Englishman in NY". I'mma nailyin, I'mma leeganailyin...
0351z: WTCR signoff after Glenn Campbell "Wichita Lineman"

Since 0230z, slower fades between inaudible and S5. Second show seldom peaked above S3 here, but good audio made it easy to copy.

(Dr. Morbius noted that first show was session 67; second show was repeat of session 8.)

Nice catch, corq!  I heard it but couldn't copy it due to heavy local noise.

Approx. 0230-0300z (not watching clock): Young lady telling erotic story.  Interesting voice, sort of insinuating, mewing, cat-like intonations and inflections.  Sounded like repeat of last night's show.  Not quite as strong, mostly buried in local RFI, but heard same "Obey... obey..." and a few other bits heard last night.

Appears to be relay of podcast by Mistress Evilena.

2238z: Harmonica blues, stronger signal again
2250z: Suddenly faded out completely.
