4/6/12, 6925 USB, 0457z: Dr. Benway felt the very molecules of his existence tear apart.

I know the feeling.

Yup, TADIL has been very intrusive lately, hard to listen to nearby broadcasts without some noise reduction.  Interestingly my old Radio Shack DSP noise reduction doodad is pretty effective at muting this type of tone.  I can still hear it, but it's attenuated enough to be less irritating, while the adjacent pirate broadcasts are still audible.

Same heard here, Renegade Radio with Steve Earle "Copperhead Road", bunch of Johnny Horton songs, op saying he's running some tests to see if they've worked out a tech issue with a sound card.  Good signal.

I caught Undercover Radio briefly on 15050 via a web tuner in Euroland, but don't recall which - probably either Cumbria DX or Dokken - while tuning around for Euro ops this weekend.  Seemed to peak briefly and then tanked along with everything else in the 15 MHz zone after 1600z or 1700z, not watching the time carefully today.

Hearing Undercover Radio here as well, 6925, Dr Benway with a monologue, contact info, segue into 20th anniversary show. Chatting about early history as Progressive Music Radio.  Fair to good signal here at home on the indoor fugloop, not too much static.
0527z: Dr. Benway on live, shout-out to Brian in New Zealand.  Sounds like the ionosphere is cooperative tonight for DX.

Fair to good overall to the indoor fugloop, lots of ups and downs but no more static than usual here.

0530z: Another classic Undercover Radio program, this one the doctor's reminiscences of South Pacific adventures.  Dr. Benway's consciousness was downloaded to a bio chip (like cyberpunk princess Esther in the X-Files "Kill Switch" episode?).
0550z: Shout out to Fansome.  Better check his license before taking him up on that offer.
0620z: Dr. Benway monolog about alien encounter.  (Doc, before you pick up that 12 gauge, remember the aliens have death rays.  Also, they evaporate into green vapor after you kill 'em, so you won't have any souvenirs.)
0624z: Doc says this is an historic broadcast for him, signal reports from all over the world.  I can confirm independently there are folks hearing you in New Zealand.
0630z: Burroughs monolog, dig it, hep cats.

Great show and signal.  Was comparing my own reception with web tuners and my peaks at home were nearly as good as tuners with good outdoor antennas.  Just more fades on the fugloop and the usual household white noise RFI, no serious QRN here.

3/28/12, 6850 AM, 0130z: David Bowie "Young Americans", Temptations "Just My Imagination", Radio Ronin Shortwave ID and contact info, Elton John "Tiny Dancer".
0142z: Archie Bell & The Drells "Tighten Up" - one of the coolest songs ever.  Only Todd Rundgren's "Loosen Up" can compare.
0144z: Aretha Franklin "Chain of Fools"
0153z: Glen Campbell "Wichita Lineman", Van Morrison "Brown Eyed Girl", Prince "Little Red Corvette"

Rough copy here at home on the indoor antenna, but good signal via web tuner.

3/21/12, 6925 AM, 0055z: Elvis "Little Sister", Santana, Radio Vixen International ID, Edwyn Collins "A Girl Like You".
Fair to good, crashy conditions and some fades.

Didn't realize at first it was AM - good audio once I switched from sideband.

QSL received last night for Radio Vixen International broadcast.  Thanks!

Heard Doors "Riders on the Storm", shout out to me (thanks!), sign-off ID.

Overall good to very good to an indoor antenna.

Ditto, right after Channel Z finished, Radio Mushroom via NE N. America web tuner, War "Cisco Kid", Styx "Lorelei".
2340z: Radio Mushroom ID has tapped into a nuclear reactor for power!  Kingsmen "Louie Louie"
2349z: Radio Mushroom ID, David Bowie "Suffragette City"
2352z: Sign off ID w/ gmail addy, and watch for those mushroom clouds

Hey, Alex, check to be sure your email or contact info is visible to folks who aren't logged in.  I just realized mine isn't, so ops who aren't registered on HFU wouldn't have any idea how to QSL me unless I contacted them first.
