I tuned in at 2138 and the broadcast ended at 2140. 45454 in Wyomissing. Captain Zekie from the Carolinas complaining about the heat and humidity.

Well, as I hit "send" for my previous post, the signal was suddenly 30 dB over the noise. No longer "unusable!"

Well, at 2318 UTC there is a carrier 20 dB above the noise, but the very faint voices and very faint music are unusable in Wyomissing.

Found the BC at 2212 with folk music--later said to be Tom Paxton--and listened until sign-off at 2220. The OM closed with an ID, some chat, and the SSTV image displayed in prior reports.
