VG signal here, talk about not much being on SW these days, but that he'll only play another song or two to make room for other stations on this busy holiday weekend evening. Bill Evans song from the '70s coming up. Great to hear this station for the first time
Thanks for the show!

Checked the radio during the solar eclipse here & had a station on 6925. Signal was poor, but I could hear music. Went back outside to take pics, etc. & came back after an hour. I haven't checked the 1st recording, but the sig was much better by around 1935 or so & station was playing Hall & Oates "She's Gone." I think someone's on 6935 now, too, but the signal's still really weak here.
Thanks for the show!

Nice signal. Punk: Channel 3 "Waiting in the Wings," Frantix "My Dad's a ******* Alcoholic," Husker Du "Real World," Sex Pistols "Bodies," Stiff Little Fingers "Alternative Ulster," Agent Orange "Bored of You," The Maids "Back to Bataan" Circle Jerks "World Up My," Swell Maps "Read About Seymour"

XLR8: Thanks!

Thanks for the show!

Big carrier up here a few times, but I've been hearing faint music for a few minutes

Turned on the radio to SSTV. Guess it must be Technosender? Good signal

1372
Brandy & then Ted Nugent "Cat Scratch Fever." Big signal, but audio levels seem low
Dr. Hook "Cover of the Rolling Stone," Wild Cherry "Play that Funky Music" ID at 0024

Thanks for the show!

Felt like summer today & it sounds like summer tonight. Fair in horrible QRN. Styx "Renegade," Journey "Wheel in the Sky," Def Leppard "Rock of Ages," Loverboy "Turn Me Loose," Foreigner "Head Games," etc. Op talking about HFU & some shoutouts (thanks for the shoutout to me  :) )

Call out for a last song . . . started to type one in but I hear that he's playing a request for Ratt "Round & Round" "Have a good night, everybody. Take care"
Thanks for the show!

Sounds like an old recording of someone talking about modulation and demodulation.  On audio peaks, the transmitter would "pop" and the modulation would quickly drop before swinging back up. Maybe from RF feedback? The op switched to SSB around 0128 or so and the audio is now OK.

Excellent signal with early '70s J. Geils Band songs: "House Party" "Give It to Me," etc. Great to hear JPS again!

VG signal here, starting at 0041. Electronic that's largely instrumental, but spoken & repeating vocals as well (but used more like an instrument than regular vocals)

1377
Excellent signal now fading below very strong pescadores

1378
Twilight Zone theme, Paul McCartney "Band on the Run." No IDs, but based on the TZ theme, I'm guessing that this is Captain Morgan. Just checked the Twente receiver & it's still too early for the signal to reach Europe. A whole bunch of computer-voiced IDs at 2325, then off
