Tuned up from the OTR unid while trying in vain to solder a kit together (from a mechanical perspective, the parts fit; from an electronic perspective, it doesn't do anything). Heard a weird-sounding data station here. It seamlessly flowed from weird-sounding data to CW to other modes, including fast-forwarding or rewinding reel-to-reel tape audio. Awesome stuff. Ran to get my computer to record it & it was just leaving

A few different times, I've heard an ID leftover from whatever Internet OTR sites these shows were culled from, but I've never heard an actual station ID

Lots of static crashes & pescadors. Every few min. I'm hearing some fade ups of techno. Not surprised that it's Liquid R: freq seems to be a bit above 6925, audio sounds pretty good when it fades in, and the music sounds within their format.
Thanks!

Nice signal & audio, as usual. I tuned in some time around 1105. Mostly rock that I didn't know, aside from Foghat "Slow Ride," Loon IDs, CW IDs, etc.
Thanks for the show, JPS!

Weak signal with mostly older country music. Did hear Jim Croce "You Don't Mess around with Jim." I think it went off around 1257. I didn't hear any IDs or announcements, but I made a recording (if the op's interested, let me know)
Thanks!

Close to S9+20 here with Hendrix, Deep Purple, etc., but someone signed on 6925 AM & now the freq is a real mess
About five min. or so later, the other station (thanks for the ID, Harry) signed off. I've been recording Amphetamine Radio, so I've been sticking here for the time being. "Please stay tuned .  . . the show is not over because I'm still awake" accurate TC for 10 pm EST, Judas Priest "Electric Eye," New Order "Blue Monday," Queen "I'm in Love with My Car"

Thanks for the show!

That's exactly the movie I was thinking of while responding . . .

Channel 12 can't find an appropriate word to replace "hijack" ? How about "broadcast" or "operate" ? Is it really that difficult to use the correct word?

Also, they said in paragraph 7 "hijacking a radio station." I guess hijacking a radio station *is* a bad idea! Are they kidnapping the staff, too?

Fair signal here. I think it sounds like classical clarinet, but I'm probably wrong.
0015 Repeating piano melody with some other sounds
0017 Sounds like a remix of Axel F
0020 Remix of "Popcorn"
Thanks for the show!

Wow, sounds great at 10 watts! Good audio & peaking at S9+10 here.
Thanks again!

I only caught the last few seconds of SSTV. Strong here, though

I tuned in at 1826. Heard what sounded like an old-time radio show, then a Pink Floyd song with what sounded like one side of a phone conversation in the background. Then Van Halen "I'll Wait" and Duran Duran "Girls on Film." Nice signal, but audio sounds thin and tinny. Sounds like audio from King of the Hill and then Kelly's Heroes
Thanks for the broadcast!

Just caught the last min. or so. Heard the announcer mention that he was going to check HFU for reports. Also heard the IDs & that he was using "low power, 25 watts." Very good signal here, but the audio was overmodulated. I thought the ID sounded like KATH, but I might be wrong because of the overmod. Also, I wasn't able to get it recorded.

Thanks for the show!

QSLs Received / Re: Unique Physical Items Received as a QSL
« on: June 03, 2015, 0215 UTC »
One difference for me is that I have a plaster fish from Radio Repulso. I also have a rubber chicken from CSIC. I think those are my only physical item QSLs, in addition to the others that you mentioned.

Nice signal with YL computer ID, "broadcasting from jfarley's mother's basement." I believe this is Twangy Radio
Thanks for the show!
