English-language QSO, talking about how "you can't get much when it's this rough," etc.

Weak to really weak here in noise. Sounds like the story of Morak that I've heard recordings of over the past few years. Have a recording if the op is interested. I couldn't hear any of the WPOD bits that were mentioned by other posters. My first time to tune in the Voice of Doom. Is there an e-mail address?
Thanks for the show!

Unfortunately, I missed the show, but I did catch the SSTV pic. Thanks! BTW, I think the center (not sure if it has an eye anymore) of the storm is fairly close to here right now.

Wolverine R. SSTV images were always way out of sync for me, but this one was pretty well aligned

Because of delayed postings from people like me who record overnight or sometimes log a show a day (or two or three) late, I think that the date is handy on the subject line, too.

Fairly weak here for the past 65 min with older country music. Clear IDs. Much better overall than when I heard GBSW for the 1st time earlier this week.
Thanks for the show!

Sig started weak, but getting decent now with "Hooked on a Feeling" and now the Juliana Montana promo.
Thanks for the show!

Weak, but I've been tuned in since 0250. My 1st time for GBSW.
Thanks for the show!

Same here. Really strong. Both songs were technoish dance--second song had "It's All for Me" repeating through the 2nd half. I didn't hear any IDs or anything else that sounded like an announcement.

Please ID?

Yes, just searched through the e-mail archives & it's tunavekosmos/ at / hotmail <dot> com

Among other things, he said "Thanks for all your comments and it's good to know that you have also liked the Smoke On the Water tropical version. It is a German band and we love to play that kind of music on the air.
Kosmos is a FM pirate station which began transmissions on February, 1993. We broadcast music in all languages in pop, rock, jungle, dance, reggae nu-jazz and other music styles. Our promos and ads are always playing with funny things and humour. The software to edit our programmes is Cool Edit Pro 2.0 and the software to play back-to-back music on the air is Raduga."

I'd doubt that anyone would be confused because Jolly Roger Radio was a famous Irish pirate that broadcasted regularly with their own programming & also that of LHH & Britain Radio Int'l. It was best heard in the '90s & earlier in the '00s. I believe he relayed a few NA pirates, too, but the sigs were much better in the British Isles than on the continent. Here's what I could find on Internet:

Fair sig at best here, but heard the Belfast address announced a couple of times.
Great to hear Radio Ice Cream again!
Thanks for the show!
