Nice signal with lite movie-type music & some other segments mixed in, such as "bring out your dead" YL phonetic ID & into music that I tuned into at 1400 this morning when I heard Ion earlier
Just finished setting up a test version of a fairly large horizontal loop so I can tune the bands on one radio while recording with the other (finally). It sounds pretty good on the R8 right now while listening to Ion

Weak signal, sometimes fading up above the noise. Signal improving & I'm hearing a lot of '50s/'60s B movie-type sounds & dialogue.
I remember when Radio Rumbos used 4970 kHz. Too bad these stations are gone, but I'm glad to see people making good use of the frequency

Huge signal. Off at 2230. Back on 6931. Repeating that the signal is five watts, but the signal's very strong. Having some audio issues with hum, etc. SSTV with some music in the background
