Hey dickweed! Great signal into NY. S9+10dB or so.

Love the wacky effects on songs on shortwave - just makes everything that much crazier! Wish you knew what you played before "Doomed to Lose", because my song ID software was not picking it up, and that was good stuff.

Possibly a new frequency for CBV Chile? Frequency not found in the NOAA PDF. No ID text on image (at least that I can make out). Weak to fair signal in NY. Carrier 6944.3 kHz

Solid S9 here in CNY. ~7kHz wide. Nice!

I'm 23.

I was first exposed to radio-as-a-hobby when I was really young...My grandparent's neighbor is a ham, and very young me was always enawed by his tower and massive yagis. He showed me all his radios one day and tuned around a bit and I was fascinated. Not much happened after that until 2009/2010 (age 13/14) when numbers stations really started popping up in the public consciousness (or something, I don't remember how I found out about them but UVB-76 started hitting news outlets not long after). All went downhill from there. Got my own shortwave, then another, then a ham license, etc etc etc. There's always been something magical about radio to me, something really strange and trippy about these signals from all over the world flying through you at any given moment.

'Evenin redhat!

S8-S9 here, but very wobbly carrier even for sync AM. Audio sounds pretty low too. Get that rig warm :)

Spanish language AM broadcast station on ~2940.1. Small possibility of being a harmonic, but it's far too clear. Not sure if it's BC (not in BC band) or pirate (odd frequency).
Sounds like a talk show program. Possibly Cuban?

About S9-S9+10dB into Syracuse NY. Around S9 or so on kiwiSDRs in Florida and Dominican Republic.

Recordings from my qth: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5l3bie6nmpzrmub/UNID-2940-0620z-022119.wav?dl=0 ; https://www.dropbox.com/s/jpoa36lrjalz41h/UNID-2940-0620z-022119-2.wav?dl=0

Update - possibly Colombian accent. Very loud on a kiwiSDR in Bonaire at 0400z 2/22/19

S9+10dB here. Solid signal.

Hey redhat. S8/9 here, but fading into the annoying noise I keep talking about!

New house...if you're paying, sure ;) (unplugged a bunch of cables...sounding better now...hah)

Hitting +10dB, getting real wide at 0239. Mostly only hearing the lows, though. Radio Verdad on 4055's a bit stronger and clearer - bump up that power :)
BTW, if you happen to see this again redhat - got any Animal Collective? Maybe Fireworks off Strawberry Jam, or The Purple Bottle off Feels?
