Scientists in New Zealand have just released a report on a fossilized penguin species, Kumimanu Fordycei, that based on flipper size would've tipped the scales at 350 lbs. and cruised the world's oceans at hypersonic speeds beaching pods of early whales with massive
waves for their 100 lb. chicks to devour.

People have thought for decades that the giant penguin of Clearwater, FL. was a hoax, but with the with the manatee/retiree/Scientologist foodbase, and the discovery in New Zealand, the giant penguins of Clearwater could be quite real. Surf's up, dude.

Unreinforced buildings. Turkey has had massive death tolls due to earthquakes over the years for that very reason. The people are just about fed up with Erdogan over his do nothing attitude over this latest quake. He's too preoccupied with Kurds in Sweden and his new aircraft carrier.

Two "Broken Arrows" stories mixed together and posted above.

Date: March 11, 1958
Location: Florence, South Carolina
No capsule of nuclear materials was aboard the 8-47 or installed in the weapon.

Date: January 24, 1961
Location: Goldsboro, North Carolina
There is no detectable radiation and no hazard in the area

That's what the Government say's, who are you going to believe, me or that pack of lying curs? What are you some sort of wise guy? If that nuke blows, no more eastern Carolina BBQ ,the best whole hog BBQ in the known universe! You're worse than Al Fansome, a well known poopy-head in his lifetime. Never interrupt me when I'm on a roll!

"Fahen,Fahen,Fahen auf der Autobahn". If you were in certain radio markets in the summer of 1975 you couldn't turn the radio on without hearing that bit of Hitler's Revenge.

Isn't that a Grundig tabletop?

I always preferred Jackson Browne's "There's A Hole In Daddy's Arm Where All The Money Goes", to Neilo's "The Needle In And The Damage Done." It caught a child's view of heroin addiction. At the time those songs were written, Young and Browne, long time friends, may have been using together.

There's a nuke buried in the swamps around Seymour Johnson AFB in N.C. It was lost on takeoff around 65 years ago and was fully armed. The Air Force searched for it for years, said, "The Hell with it.", and threw up chain link fences for miles around the suspected impact zone. One of these days that thing might go off and it will be "Goodbye" to a couple of million people, including the the Holy Shrine's of both Nahunta Pork Center's and Wilber's BBQ.

They could have knocked that balloon down anywhere in the Carolina Low Country with the only risk being to yellow pines, alligators, wild hogs, and timber rattlers. Not a Nascar track would've been harmed.

I bought one of those subs when I was 7,it and the torpedoes were made of cardboard.

I had a great-Uncle who smoked Asthma Cigarettes, the cork filters were supposed to protect your lungs. He was dead in seven years of
liver cancer. Must have been a bad batch of cork? It couldn't have been the chemicals he was exposed to working for Monsanto? Their motto was, "Better Living Through Chemistry", not "Quicker Croaking From Working For Us?".

This site needs a Radio Hooligan forum for these stations.

I tried the V-beam and the Beverage at Chris's place. Had a bit of audio w/ the V-beam and a strong carrier on the Beverage. I'll put my 50 cents on a Euro unless Bud Bigly has screwed his transmitter up. Nada on the SDR's I tried out west.

686
I've been seeing a carrier there all evening on Chris's Kiwi w/ 120ft. T2FD but I haven't been able to get any audio.

687
2338 UTC Solid S9 + Grateful Dead tune?
2340 UTC Supertramp! The long way home! One of the best Live Concerts I even saw 1978? Audio wise!

Are you sure you just weren't at the right level in the smoke cloud in the arena?

"Bloody Well Right" before I headed off to dinner, by who else? Supertramp! An easy S-9 on Smolinski's farm. BTW, I had peskerheads in usb during the broadcast and I've still got them now at 0:38. I thought it was you having fun screwing around during the broadcast?

688
LOL! I thought they were playing the "Hong Kong Phooey" theme song for a second?

689
"Long Distance Runaround" These guy's were excellent musicians, but sideband doesn't do them justice, not enough audio bandwidth to handle the music.

For a Prog Rock band who catered to acid heads, these guy's sure drank a lot of beer. Wakeman's organ would be stacked with bottles. I don't know how he got to his synths?

"Heart of The Sunrise"

690
Sorry I missed it. They should've played "Long White Cadillac" or "Readin', Writin' and Route 23" two of his early hits. Dwight's current bio claims he's from Columbus,OH., but he's really from Pikeville, KY. known for being the place where the Hatfield and McCoy feud started over a hog, why would he want to deny something like that?
