A lot of SW pirates are weird guys, Skip. Why else would you fool with it in these day's of podcasting?

QSLs Received / Re: Radio Azteca Relay eQSL 23 Jan 2023

Congrats, guys! That Radio Azteca marathon was the highlight of my evening. Bram was always my favorite comedy pirate.

Did you get the prized frog sticker on your real QSL, Harry?

Nice Signals on the Maurice, LA. Kiwi and the Forney, TX, Kiwi. It's the first time I've tried either. The one in Maurice is more quiet, but the one in Forney has much more gain. These could be go to Kiwi's when the band goes long instead of the ones in the Far West.

I think he ran one similar to this the other night? He does like his blues.

There's a nice signal coming into Maurice, LA. This is ScratchMoney's Kiwi w/ it's plethora of loops. Scratch logged in to HFU the other night. I used to dx in south Louisiana when I was visiting my sister, prime dx'ing country. I'd been curious about his set-up. Very low noise on this SDR but it's starting to rise.

Playing ZZ Top currently, into someone else trying to sound like John Lee Hooker. Mean slide guitar. Sounds like one of young Outhouse's shows. Think I'll go further west. SSTV noise.

It sounds more like a parody broadcast of sports announcers. It went from football to a Red Sox's game to talking about the Brooklyn Dodgers. Two other people dubbed over it. Man and a woman having a conversation and piano music mixed in. Now it's about the Red's and we've got two guys arguing about aftershave. They either faded out or called it quits.

Decent copy on the N. Utah Kiwi w/ a Log periodic antenna mounted on what looks like a monster of a mast.

Stay on. Your signal has really improved. A solid S-10.

833
There's one of those blob things below you and some moderate fades, but you're still sounding good. I'll give it a 344, Mr. Clark.

2358 - "We've upped our standards, now, up yours."
0003 - "One of America's gross national products."

 - Well played, sir. Well played.

Aren't they great? It's why I never attempted a comedy show when I started out. There was no way to top Bram.

There have been two carriers on the Westminster Kiwi w/ the 120 ft. T2FD on and above 6930 since the sun went down. It looked like an invitation to a het fest so I stayed away.

836
I have it with a good signal.  Just played Momas and Papas, California Dreaming  thanks for the show.

I used to play that one for You Know Who on Radio Al Fansome.

837
Ah-Ha. And I felt bad for abandoning you to listen to the Radio Azteca Marathon? You'll have to forgive me,I haven't heard Bram in years.

838
Bram marches on. Man, I have missed these shows!

839
Very good reception
2311 Sounds like Radio Azteca program
2314 C&W song parody
2317 Dr. Radio segment

Yep. The same here Yankee. Got an ID. Bram going into Episode 29.

Did anyone know more bad puns than Bram Stoker? They make you pucker like biting into lemon. That's the sign of a good bad joke.

It's a mix of snow and freezing rain here. A lot of static and it's nasty outside.
