All I hear is some data transmission on USB. Some voice type stuff on LSB.  I like Shatner. I think he knows how awful he is.

Sun is up here in Kalifornia. At 6967.xx USB I got a disruption in the fuzz that must have been "That Smell."

Your signal slowly went away, was this due to propagation or was it your transmitter?  Like, did it slowly die or die all at once.

Thanks for your replies but it still didn't answer my question so I did an internet search.
I just found a site that explained it.

I like how some are solar powered things and also how some give off weak signals.

General Radio Discussion / Can somebody explain radio beacons
« on: November 23, 2013, 0305 UTC »
I like finding new facets in life.  And just now when perusing the radio beacons discussion I found the term "pirate beacon."  I'm in a wonderful WTH?! moment.

What is the draw to beacons?

BOR
Ah, I see. A good way to reach farther around the world. Thanks.

Your reception went down when my reception went up. My theory is that BOR aimed his antenna in my direction.

Noise with faint music. And what sounds like SSTV for about 3 seconds at 03:42 but I figure thats interference.

Thanks for the effort, I hope it improves.

How does a relay work. Is it live?  Is somebody up early in the morning over there right now transmitting?

"This is Cool AM"  Pretty good reception now!
