thought it might break out into a message or show of some kind as it went off with new years east coast...but went dark....oh well....

i had a station here around 0100z but could never ID it or even truely zero beat to tell exact freq due to QRM from pescadores and MARS and heavy QRN on band and general band condx......signal was fair....it seemed more USB to me, at 0100z but I could never pin it down, couldn't tell if it was the same station, or maybe a pescador going holiday broadcast style !

louder than the REAL RFW was earlier tonight...but this guy is in USB with nasal audio...not RFW AM !

MARS network for SE USA on 6903 USB voice and ALE digi...all over Southern USA...hams in affiliation with DOD...really tight arse jokers....with no sense of humor or toleration level and retired DOD types....'Nuf Ced :-)

better safe than sorry....

i'm close to where many of them are in the country and your splatter is very strong on their freq right now....tho they seem clueless...even more clueless than usual,thankfully :-)

BUT....i wouldn't advise operating AM on this freq....the guys just above you have no sense of humor and WILL drop a dime in a heartbeat....just sayin'.....know your spectrum :-(

Can hear the IS (Swedish Rhapsody) fine, but the voice is unintelligible.
