Recorder Catch on 6925USB

Someone here with music at very weak level between 0341 and 0343z.  Sounded kind of Fleetwood Mac'ish, but can't be sure.

Heard some unintelligible OM talk here; about an S5.  Don't believe this was a pesc.

On shortly before 2344

2344 "More, More, More"
2346 Liquid Radio ID, "Suicide Blonde"
2358 EE Shrimpers now dominant in the USB, pescs in the LSB
0021 Still on - believe I just heard another LR ID, but signal strength is right down to the noise now
0036 Kajagoogoo - Too Shy, LR ID (LR, the data on 6913, and strong pesc on 6900LSB only signals being seen at this moment)

About S6 here on peaks,

I am not really sure what this is, and I am not even sure if this is what it sounds like.  I noted a weak USB firing up on the top end of the waterfall, and I clicked in at 6957.38 USB and heard what sounded like drums (talking drums?) and claves.  Else, slow morse.

I did not have the time to investigate proper tuning and mode as it was off in about 40 seconds.  Anyone else capture this?

Had a few minutes before leaving for work, so I checked to see what could be heard on this Volmet ring.  I did not have time to monitor a complete 1/2 hour cycle.

1130z Australia weak to fair with YL giving meteo
1135z nada (Calcutta sked)
1140z Bangkok tent weak with (Brit?) accented OM giving meteo
1145z nada (Karachi sked)

Recorder Catch on 6925USB

THR here with a short show, opening with an ID, a couple of tunes.  Off abruptly during Del Shannon's Runaway.

Very nice signal tonight, and sorry things were so short tonight.

Recorder Catches on 6679 USB

Just for something different, I recorded the PAC 6679 Volmet net overnight to see what could be heard.  The recording period was 0300 to 1115 UTC.  I thought this might be interesting now that Radio Totse is being heard again.

Honolulu could be heard in almost all of its assigned time slots with fair to very good signals.

Auckland could be heard in all of its time slots from 0520 UTC on with fair to good signals.

Not a peep was heard in the H+10, H+15, H+40, or H+45 slots.

I found one site which says that Auckland has a 5kW transmitter here, but no definitive indication of what the actual power is.  Anybody have an idea?

Playing AC/DC with IDs as "LTO Radio testing the antenna".

Thanks again LTO!

0157 Came on with AC/DC "Thunderstruck"
0202 Sounded like an OM with an ID "_____ Radio" ; can't make it out after many listens
0204 Hell's Bells for a bit
0205 off

S4 on an S3 floor

0217 Back on w/ Highway to Hell - now a hair better at S5
0222 "ID ID this is LTO Radio" repeated (thanks!), "Back in Black"
0226 LTO ID repeated twice
0227 "You are welcome jFarley" repeated twice, more AC/DC
0231 IDs, Shoot To Thrill
0238 Long Way to the Top

Now S6 peaks, some fades to floor, nice audio

0255 73s and shouts to listeners
0256 off

Thanks LTO!

On and off a few times starting at 0006; finally on solid at 0011z.  Playing EDM.

0017 very tent Liquid Radio ID.

About S7 here, modulation seems a bit low.

0021 Much deeper mod now.
0031 Liquid Radio ID; still some deep fades but peaks now to S9ish
0100 Still a solid S8 here in storm QRN.  Very nice audio on peaks.
0108 "Liquid Radio...liquidradioonline.com"

Thanks again Liquid!
