I was monitoring 1710 and noticed an AM carrier come up on 1720 around 0325 UTC.  There seemed to be weak audio associated with it when the signal peaked, but it was too weak to comprehend anything.  Carrier went off at 0338, perhaps someone testing?

UNID on 1710.009 kHz with continuous R&B songs, S3-S4 signal.  This doesn't sound like the "W807" Chicago station to me, but I could be wrong.  No announcements heard yet.  Signal still hanging on despite the sun coming up now...

I'm calling it Radio Drifty, now up to 6943.5 and climbing.  S6 with Clint Eastwood sounding OM between songs.

Huge signal.  Tuned into Tom Petty song at 0202z and song abruptly cut out and then into a Christian song.  KVOH ID a minute late "Voice of Hope, Los Angles, CA."

Been listening since sign-on tonight but cx not as good as last night and rougher copy.  Deeper fades and less signal strength but still enjoyable.  Thanks RH!

I just finished listening to X-FM's show from last night.  I made a 20 khz wide AM stereo recording of the show for others interested:

6870 kHz X-FM C-QUAM STEREO 0140-0257 UTC 01NO13.mp3

Thanks X-FM!

A big "thanks" to all those ops last night for keeping us entertained.  What a great turnout!

Nothing noted however on 1710 last night except the usual occupants, just in case anyone is keeping track :-)

Blowing my doors off, S9+10 and sounding great as usual.  Thanks for the Halloween show!

Phonetic calls with a few different players and intermittent data bursts between contacts that I haven't heard before, sounds like military comms.

I don't think this is a spur.  Whenever I see 10m lit up, I check for this station, but I haven't caught it yet.  Very nice catch BDM!
