Broadcast Announcements / Radio Piraña Int. continue on 6930kHz
« on: October 02, 2017, 2203 UTC »
We will continue the whole week with the previous announced time sched. That’s means from around 21UTC until 13 UTC next day on 6930kHz AM.
Yesterday there was a storm in the region and we could not get on air. Also, the electricity supply in the region was off, due to the weather conditions.
whole evening and night and returned first in the morning today.

Condition hasn't been the best lately so therefore we extend the transmission. Maybe we reach someone with this nice low power  :)

Broadcast Announcements / Broadcast from South America on 6930kHz AM
« on: September 30, 2017, 2110 UTC »
Dear friends! Finally, we have our transmitter back in business from South America. Back in May the transmitter broken.
The output Mosfet burned. We had the transmitter back to Europe where I fixed it, and now it is back in place somewhere
in southern South America. The last two weeks we have had problem with our Internet connection there, so we had big problem
to get the program to be aired downloaded to the QTH. Actually, we had the intention to have been on from yesterday, but not.
It was impossible.

But today from around 21.30 UTC to tomorrow 13.00 UTC the transmitter will be running with its 10 watts of power. A real challenge!
Also from tomorrow evening 21.30 UTC until Monday 13.00 UTC the transmitter will be on.

We will relay: Skyline Radio Germany (SRG).     6930kHz AM

Dear friens! Conditons may not bee so good this day for a try for South America. But anyway our transmitter on 6930 kHz AM
is on now until tomorrow around 13UTC

38
I will give it a try! Although now that we are close to summer, it will be much more difficult.

Is it too early to pester for a QSL for the March transmissions?  ;D

You will have it soon Chris :-)

Dear friends!

Friday May 19th      from 21.00 - 13.00 UTC

Saturday May 20th  from 21.00 - 13.00 UTC

Sunday May 21st.   from 21.00 - 13.00 UTC

Thank you RainBrandy! Yes it is actually incredible!

We are going into the last days of our SAm. transmittions. We will broadcast until monday 3rd of April 14 UTC. We have received several reports from very long away, Europe, The USA, and New Zealand! Incredible for this 10 watts carrier transmitter.
It seems that checking via the Brazilean Kiwi sdr at Padrinho, at around 05UTC is a good choice.

Dayily ched until monday 3rd of April:  6930 kHz  20 - 14 UTC

This was a relay via our transmitter in South America!  Transmitter giving only 10 watts carrier (aprox. 40 watts PEP) !!
Calulating cable loss and SWR, at the inverted V dipole's feed point, aprox. 8.4 watts. Really amazing!
The inverted V dipole is at 24 meters hight.
