Caught a dasher tonight with a bit of a whoop, I guess power supply sag. 0420Z, VE7AV SDR, Prince George, BC (more southern SDR's at their user limits).

Have a screencap, but can't see how to add it?

I tried listening for it but some obnoxious OTHR or something was plastering 8 MHz just now

Also try checking 8138.8/2 = 4069.4 to see if you heard a second harmonic on 8 MHz.

4095.650 KHz  DW, Desert Whooper. Weak signal here on the KX3. BAT 13.9  OTMP 80  ITMP 85   PV 4
4102.850 KHz  Windy. Weak signal here on the KX3, no breeze; seems to be on the air more than it's off these days!
6700.466 KHz  Hexie2K, really nice signal on the KX3 for a while then it disappeared. Hopefully rises up again in the afternoon

Heard on the KFS SE kiwi SDR

4095.92  Coxie, sounds like a foghorn because of the power supply sag at key up
4097.22 Fast Ditter
8200.00  D beacon

That is an excellent blog. It will take me forever to get caught up. I just ran across it today due to my laziness in getting around to learning about the TDOA function in the SDRs   ;D

the signal is peaking at 25 - 30 dB above the noise here at home

Interesting how the O & I temps are close. They are usually 5 degrees apart. Maybe thermal lag from the I temp location? Wish I had temp numbers for the whole day......

Thanks for posting up on these beacons. I like watching for different signals and now that I use the SDRs more often, I can catch weaker signals that might eventually turn into ones I can hear at home. DW and L are good examples.
