Thought at first it was the same station,
but when you identified it as Radio Merlin, I thought there was another station on the channel.

But everything else says it was one and only one station. 

edit : maybe you heard R.Casanova thanking R.Merlin for a report or something else ?

edit : Casanova greeting Merlin once again on the 23rd. I change the subject and I merge the reports.

So broadcasts coming from foreign countries are not unauthorized by Ofcom,
and Ofcom not taking action against those unauthorized transmissions is an accomplice of a criminal action, at least should jam any transmission coming from abroad,
otherwise, that means the Ofcom is a criminal organisation ?

day long transmission, but down to extra weak in the middle of the day.
1559 music and W DJ, 1615 fading up, ID not quite OK, music, 1620
more heard in the clear till 1900.
1900 beginning to hear the spur
So the Wooferton relay is broadcasting a very bad signal on a marine  band ?
