Hi,

I heard this station at 0632-0711, not understanding what kind of science-fiction it was, mixed with worrying music.
Then at 0706 was an announcement in normal voice, about QSLing, and I heard "900 watts", but it was noisy now.

Heard in West part of France (yes, Europe !) , portable set (Sony ICF7600D) with a dipole antenna 6 m high.

Sorry I could not get more about the ID (?) at the end.

Hi,

Channel Z must my UNID on 6925,1 AM at 23.06-23.33*

I could not understand the name under heavy traffic at that time, but I identified several songs :
2312 Mungo Jerry "In the summertime"
2318 the Kinks "Sunny afternoon"
2323 Otis redding "The dock of the bay"

2333 no more signal (but Radio Mushroom followed, in USB)

All heard in France (yes, the other side of the pond!)

Hi,

R. Mushroom heard also in France, on 6925 USB, from 2334 to 2353, with Louie Louie, My Sharona, Sufragette City, and a lot of IDs notso easy to understand on this side of the pond, but I figured the name at last.

(Came just after an other station on 6925,1 AM I could not identify under traffic QRM)

Hi,

I heard a station this morning (Thursday 15th of december) at 06.49 UTC to 07.22 UTC, on 6930.0 kHz in W. Europe.
I thought it was in AM mode (with a carrier), but I could hear it only using LSB because of Ut.QRM on 6935.
Program was music, with announcements between records. At 06.53, annt by woman and duo man+woman saying hello...(etc...) .
There was a strong het on 6925 till 06.55. Then afater 07.00, there was much OTH radar hits.
No known music, and very weak signal on this side of the pond!

Captain Morgan SW on 6924.8 kHz heard in France Sunday 13th Nov. at 0458-0507* s/off,
with "Wot", ID, "Spirit in the sky". (Maybe already at 0448-0450, lost).

An other station replied at 0508-0512* with a different version of "Wot".

Same station heard around 2.30 - 2.50 UTC in W. Europe, very weak, with Velvet Underground at 2.42, just after an e-mail address I could not copy (even if spelled in ordinary alphabet.  DJ bridges, maybe male+female DJ playing at 2.36.

Captain Morgan SW also heard on 6925,0 approx., here in W. Europe on Sat. 16 of July at 02.09UTC with "Born to be wild" and other songs I don't know, one was "..funky music". Signal strong enough, but sounding badly so I could not copy the "Captain Morgan" part of the ID, only "shortwave at gmail dot com". By 02.23, it was evident there was an other station underneath, drifting enough to get a hum now. At 02.30 both stations disappeared.

I tuned around and found an other signal at 02.36UTC on 6899.3 AM with also "shortwave" in the ID at 02.41, but it was a weaker one, also announcing a (phone?) nr incl. 443 and gmail at 02.57, disturbed by SSB traffic on 6905LSB. So I tuned again elsewhere for a while (see under). I came back and heard a long ID at 03.43 but nothing better till the signal faded out under the SSB traffic and noise.

Captain Morgan SW heard again at 03.13UTC, this time on 6950,2 kHz, playing again that "..funky music" song, then an other blues and boogie programme. And again I could not copy the "Captain Morgan" part of the gmail address! Ended with scary noises at 03.42UTC.

6950.1 AM heard in W. Europe at sunrise, July 8, 5.45 UTC

Very weak station just between Laser Hot Hits 6945 and Atlantic R. 6959.6.
Mostly music, but unknown songs at the peak times.
Very few words really heard (6.08 Here we go ??, 6.31 ..rainbow..???).
Then fading out, some rumble around 6.45 (other carrier) and carrier vanishing.

Hi !

Heard also a very weak station on 6925.1 kHz as late as 6.15 -6.55 UTC here in W. Europe.
Could just say there was music at times and talk at other times.

Seemed too weak for a European station, and nothing reported about it in Europe AFAIK.

Help needed !

Very weak station heard on 6925 AM (here, W. Europe), at 4.20 - 5.00.

Mostly talking, with several voices, (incl. one female voice). Short musical pieces. Too much local noise, so almost no detail, sorry. But I thought it sounded like some program relayed by WBCQ, and I went there on 5110. Exactly the same format of mostly talking, voices and music. But I could not hear both at the same time, not even switch quickly. If a song had been played from beginning to end, maybe I could have identified if it was the same program.

Well, I needed to sleep again...

6930usb

Station heard in W. Europe, 5.51 - 7.50, very weak.
Could not understand any ID, but around 5.55 something sounding like "Sunshine Radio", with a number including 30554 (and then "----- America").

Much talk, including several phone talks. Very few records, rather short parts of music from time to time.
6.01 op wishing Happy new year to the phone caller
7.15 ID ---- Radio, ---hotmail.
7.45 --- free radio ---
Going on, but weaker and weaker

Could it be the same station that you heard on 6930usb ?

Hello,

Wolverine Radio heard last night in W. Europe, UTC of Sunday 19th of Dec., on 6925 USB. I could not copy any ID but heard what follows :

03.38 "Oye como va"
03.55 "My friend Jack"
04.03 "She's not there"
04.05 SSTV
04.15 a few words and gone.

Other records well heard also, but unknown or unknown titles.

Maybe the "W--- Radio" station I heard this morning here in W. Europe.

But it sounded like 2 stations were on, so nothing clear. A station played the US anthem at 6.48 UTC, then I heard only one station with also a "W---" ID at 6.50 and nothing more at 6.51. (Just before the anthem, I also heard about "Electric Prunes", and a "POB", in the mess).

Station heard also here in W. Europe, although I could not really understand "Thinking man" (but "radio@gmail.com" was pronounced slowly and quite clear...) and the same happened after each record till the sign off at 22.33 UTC.

(Acc. to record titles and times, it was surely Thinking Man Radio).
