Some apps I use only work with Internet Explorer.  but I normally use Firefox.   Where is Netscape when you need them.

As previously discussed low level A.M. and further amplification wont sound as good as High level mod.

Depends on how your low level modulation is generated..

Wow  this is an interesting discussion..  I think Stretchyman makes nice black box kit that will get you on the air for a minimum amount of dollars and is just fine for new hobbyist to get on the air with..  Now if Strechyman's  black box isn't your cup of tea or if you have a better idea then break out the copper and ferric chloride and build what you want and put it on the air.  for the $150 or so he charges it's a pretty good deal to get on the air.  If you want commercial broadcast quality then you need to build it your self as many of the OPs here have.  Now digitalmod if you want all the bell's and whistles then you could always buy a kit or two from Strechyman and improve on his design and add the features you want.

Just my 2 cents

I also run full 10Khz bandwidth and use DDS for my carrier.. I think most SW Listeners would much rather listen to high fidelity commercial broadcast quality.  than to listen to 3Khz SSB. for music..

Nautel just lit up a 2MW AM in Hundary I believe, and a 400KW on 800 KHz in Bonaire.  Someone is buying these things.

They have been Extremely aggressive on FM  enlisting the Maryland office to supplement the New York area enforcement..  Must have to due with a recent filing for Bankruptcy  and a 15 Billion debt trying to be restructured
