And while the rest of what you wrote makes sense, screaming radio preachers comprises a kink I've not heard of before. Unless she found the sound of hubby's voice reassuring, or something.
Yeah, HM01 showing up on RHC frequencies and vice versa still happen. The data bursts you're hearing are DRM. They finally got away from RDFT earlier this year.

Lots more data bursts than I remember.
