First noted around 2355z here, but very very low audio. I didn't want to be the first one to post. I'm seeing a carrier with audio in the upper sideband, but not the lower, on my waterfall.
0041 signal much better now, and more obviously full AM mode. SIO 222.

Saturday 07 May 2022, 1449 UTC, decent SIO 333 signal.

Present but weak in Colorado at 1447 UTC. Sometimes this one comes in decently (SIO 333 or slightly better) but it's not consistent.

Spy Numbers / Re: HM01, Spanish Lady, 11635K, 1845 2 May 2022

Just a note of correction, the Russian operated station that's designated as V07 is the "Spanish Lady." HM01 (which succeeded the original voice-only station V02) is the "Cuban Lady" if one wants to use that kind of nickname.

China's preferred method of jamming is to run CNR1 at massive power (I'm assuming, anyway, because usually the jamming transmissions are much stronger at my QTH than their nonjamming broadcasts). The Firedrake is actually pretty scarce, comparatively. Usually they use that when jamming Radio Free Asia. But SOH is always jammed by CNR1, and they like to use it against RTI and VOA as well.

Good signal today, about SIO 444.

Happy May Day comrade!

'Twas about SIO 222 here.

Low audio but copyable in Denver CO at 0805 UTC, SIO 233. YL voice speaking.

I've been a subscriber. It's good stuff, though in recent years it's taken more of a ham radio perspective which is kind of redundant for me since I also get QST tanks to my ARRL membership. But there are always a few good columns and reviews and at $2 an issue (if you get the annual subscription) it's a real bargain.

Very strong signal this morning, SIO 544-555, with easy Japanese language lesson for English speakers. Tx via Yamata to SE Asia.

This came on suddenly while I was vainly waiting to see if WDDR would return. Good signal here but obviously not WDDR.

0338 song
0341 "Ticket to Ride" The Beatles
0343 "Act Naturally" The Beatles

I believe WDOG and WDDR flipped frequencies.

I think you're right...

Solid signal here, thanks for the show!

0301 Good signal here, heavy rock music. Thanks for the show!
