The family that owned WATR had held it since going on air in 1934.  The buyers are operators of Spanish stations in Connecticut including one that carries the Spanish broadcast of Boston Red Sox games.

On several stations but 17830 is best here now (also 15400 and 17640)

Over modulated (here) OM/YL giving phonetic terms (Oscar, Foxtrot) for stretches of time.  Pauses and starts again.  Can not decipher most of words spoken.

Excellent reception, so good I have it cranked on the '37 Zenith Console.  An hour featuring US Surf Music, next week's program will be foreign Surf Music - I never knew :o.  The WBCQ online program guide does not list this program.  Wonderful program - very cool, Daddy-O 8)!
