Good reception, probably the best I have ever received.

If you are interested in hearing/recording an antenna switch live, WTIC 1080 AM (Hartford) has a noticeable switch every morning at sunrise (currently about 0930ut). If the switch is before 0930 ut, it goes unannounced during their almost daily half hour morning news program but the station disappears for a few seconds mid-broadcast. After 0930ut, the OM will announce the switch is coming. I do not know of any other 50,000 watt station in the northeast that does such a pronounced antenna switch.

The VORW host just announced (0000ut 7/21 7490) that they will be adding a European targeted transmission from Europe on 9400am Sundays at 1600 utc. This is an former Radio Bulgaria frequency.

My wife and I also are very much pro-butterfly. While we do not hatch our own, we don't use any pesticides in the garden or on the lawn. We allow native weeds to grow and flower in sections, including milkweed and wild thyme. We also grow a half dozen types of fruit and numerous flowers they favor. We must have 8-12 (various swallowtails, skippers, and fritillaries) varieties that visit our property, saw the first Monarch of the year yesterday - was it yours, Davep

Excellent reception...mainly in Spanish but enough English words (umpire, strike, swing) to know you are listening to baseball. This game is Arizona v Cincinnati.

Weird, really weird today (July 14). Started my drive home (2030ut) with no reception of WPPB 88.3. As I drove further NORTH, a station started coming in. They gave a severe thunderstorm warning for the local area - Marion County (Ocala), FL. Began losing the station when I pulled into the valley my home is located. No reception at home. Curious if anyone else in northeast has the same experience. There is a religious station on 88.3 in Ocala but I'm not sure this was a religious station, they didn't give ID when I heard.
On a continuing weird note driving home.....saw my first live fisher cat in the wild - weird, freaky looking things.
