From from former Red Sox pitcher Oil Can Boyd, this must explain the references to salt water:
In addition, Boyd’s sense of logic, and his apparent lack of common sense, made him fodder for the fans and the media. When a game was postponed at Cleveland’s Municipal Stadium because of fog coming in from Lake Erie, Boyd delivered a profound judgment. “That’s what you get for building a ballpark on the ocean.”
The Oil Can nickname was slang for beer can. I love the greater Cleveland area. My older son went to graduate school out there a decade ago and stayed, except for the last two years he opted to leave the mothership for the Middle East for more experience.

Excellent reception.....T/O 7000 with just its whip (BBC is apt to bounce over several frequencies during course of match),

This is Tottenham Hotspur's final match at their current home field (White Hart Lane) which they have played at since 1899, 2,533 competitive matches contested there. They will play next season at England's home office for soccer (Wembley Stadium) prior to moving to their new grounds for the 2018-19 campaign. The Spurs host Manchester United who is scrambling for a 2017-18 Champions League slot. Spurs, who have locked up a Champions League berth for 2017-18, merely need a tie in their final three matches for a surprising second place finish this season. The title has already been clinched by London rival Chelsea.
